Premiership football and good wages are what players want last time I checked. Oh and being a captain.

That Aaron McLean is good. You'll do well to keep him. Didn't he spend like 4/5 years at Peterborough before someone took pity on him?

Exactly. As I said, there's more to being a centre forward than scoring goals - such as setting up midfielders (Yak's good at that), drawing away defenders, etc....

A good centre forward can create as many - if not more - goals than he actually scores.

We were on the edge of administration and so we're not doing bad. Not argueing that you have the better squad we were aiming for mid-table this season. Nige has built up quite a lot of that squad though over a couple of good years on very little money.
Can you really compare Nige to Sven?? Nige has so little money that Mandaric wouldn't even allow him to sign Moreno for £250k but now you're splashing out £1m just to get Yak on loan.
 
Sven is a world class manager no doubt. Billy just moans all day and will never cut it im afraid. I wish we just sacked him and be done with it. I would love someone like Sven to take us over as we would then have a future to look forward to.

You will be in the prem next year no doubt while we have another year the the championship to luck forward to.
