Your'e tips have been spot on in the past PT. I hope your'e wrong with this one. I honestly believe Matty could bag us 30 goals this season in the right system, and with the service being good. Sorry ISTPLT, but that's what i think he is capable of. Last season he bagged us 16,playing outside of his comfort zone. He clearly learned new skills from last season, which will only add another dimention to his game. Stay with Hull City Matt,The Premier beckons !
I read he moved to Lichfield. But wherever he lives,, to make training he will have to leave @ 7am pronto maybe 6.30am but he could use the A1 and come in the back door over the bridge. That saves an hour at least. I know what the M1 is like all too well. Also, Fryatt does not have to make the trip daily he could stay in Hull and just go back home when he gets days off. Afterall, his wife has her family now to help her.
Lichfield's a ****e place to live if you're going to commute to Cottingham, you've got to drive over 40 miles just to get to the M1.
I really hope you're right but he needs to learn to strike the ball and to shoot when he goes through 1-on-1 if he's going to do that and I just don't see it. Even against Ferriby when put through on goal from the halfway line he didn't have the composure to have a shot before predictably dribbling all the way to the keeper's hands and at Winterton he rounded the keeper and still didn't shoot but instead passed it backwards to a marked Koren
To be fair, its not like he does a full days work and will be rolling in at 8-9pm. He'll be finished in the afternoon and home in time for tea.
Thought I read somewhere abit ago he was doing just that, commuting two and staying three nights or summat
