Why cant harry just keep his mouth shut! Hes the biggest itk leak at the club! Zip it harry! Let the offish announce signings if/when they are 100% completed!
 
Im really sick and tired of Harrys comments to the press, why cant he keep his gob firmly shut until a deals done.
 
Doesn't make one bit of difference what Harry says to the press. Neither Hooper or Parker would have joined even if Harry had kept quiet.

It is the agents who's touting their clients names around, if they didn't they wouldn't do their job.

It's not like Norwich and Fulham found out through the press and Harry that these players where about to change clubs. Both players were holding out for a move to the Premier League.

Ffs lads, wake up.

Some good sense, at last.
 
The issue is not that his comments cause us to lose the deals, I wouldnt expect that to be the case. For me its just that his statemsnts make our club look foolish when a player goes elsewhere.

Nothing more and nothing less than that.

Fair point. Probably best to not get too wound up by it though - it's just another day at the Zoo.
 
We don't look foolish to me, just ambitious. But i respect your view Sussex and have no problem to see where you're coming from.

Can it be a strange PR strategy from the club? Linking us directly to players in the press conferences creates a whole lot of articles about us, and help keep the club in the spotlight.

I don't know, just a thought.

I really hope we sign Phillips just the kind of player we should be going for

You may be right Norway, and Harry is a real media tart isnt he. Maybe Im being ultra sensitive after last years catastrophic failure.

Excellent signing, as David McIintyre said just the sort of player we should be getting.
Not sure how long before he could play though, hasn't he got a broken arm?
