thats actually a **** analogy given the fact that Leicester are worse off than both Leeds and Hull although they are given untold amounts of cash to spend whereas Hull and Leeds are not.
We beat them as well actually, poor tactics from Pearson cost them. Leeds beat them away though didn't they? I actually think a league double might be on the cards then...
as I said, I expect nothing from this season however I would be incredibly dissapointed if we finished below Leicester You could be right Legosaurus, we play em last game of the season as well
your both 100% right, I don't see the need for profanity though, there is no question both leeds and hull are in far better shape than leicester, im sure you will both do the double over us, bound to.. your so lucky to support such successful clubs, with great big futures ,you don't need money i can see that.
Just be glad you don't support us...having huge wealth is a burden.. everybody tends to hate you for some reason.. we should be pitied really.. all leicester fans tend to big men compared with the rest of the country..
Don't believe Mills is the sort of player that will easily give up if he's lost his place. Personally though he's probably my fourth choice centre-half (fifth if counting a fully-fit Tunchev) and therefore wouldn't be too upset to see him go. Does anyone else like the idea of a Morgan-Bamba partnership? A bit harsh on St. Ledger I know, but I think that could be a decent pairing.
If NP wants to get rid of him then I´m ok with it. We paid 4 mil which is about 2 mil to much, at least we ain´t as bad as Chelsea. "COME ON CITY KICK THE SHEEP´S **** TONIGHT"
Look, it's no secret that we spent a lo of money in the summer and I think it would be a fair assumption to make, given our league position, that Sven didn't spend the money that was available very well. I'll certainly hold my hands up and say that I over-estimated the quality of this squad, as did the media and as did (if they're being honest) many Leicester fans. This season's failure (assuming a late charge isn't made) is more down to Sven than Pearson I'd say because Pearson, whilst I wouldn't go as far as to say he's inherited a mess, has inherited an in-balanced, defence orientated, over-priced squad. I think so far he's done a decent job of sifting through the players he feels are surplus and also managing the players he does like. I still feel he needs a summer to properly get his squad in and get his 'mentality' across to the players and I think we'll be better off for having Nigel Pearson next season. The mistake we made wasn't spending money because the money was there to spend; however, we didn't spend it well enough and that is the reason we are where we are and why we're taking (arguably deservedly so) a bit flack from rival fans. As for Mills, I think his price tag, which was too high, was always going to put a lot of pressure on him to perform well and maybe created an unfair expectation of him from fans compared to his ability as a player. I don't think he's actually done that badly this season. A shaky start and a rocky last couple of games but in the most part, he's been quite good. Although, it was always going to be difficult to keep all 4 happy and one was always likely to leave. It would probably be the one that had the worst attitude and the one that was unwilling to knuckle down to fight for their place and so would maybe benefit the squad if they left. It appears that is Mills and I feel we have 3 very good Championship CB's still so, good player that he is, it won't be a loss that we'll struggle to recover from.
Spending money does´nt mean you´ll do well, you have to get the right balance in the squad, get the right players in & manage those players. SGE did non of that & it´s all history, we have NP now & when he sorts the squad out in the summer watch out Dull & DIRRRRRRTY LEEEEEDS. I say that because non of us will be going up this season & LCFC will be a different team next. Now go back to your own forums please.
That's that then, move on and concentrate on your own team instead of our little under performing team.
Rumour is he's coming to us before the Portsmouth game. Not worth £4m by a long shot but definitely better than some of the dross we have in that position.
The wads of cash Leicester have isn't the problem, it was the "Billy Big Boots" attitude of their fans suddenly developed that made people want to laugh at them. It has been funny watching their season. Leeds, Leicester and City are likely to be in the same division next season, but at least Leeds and (hull) City still have a chance of going up.
There was a rumour not so long ago in the daily liar (mail) that Pearson was going to sell him. There may be nothing in it but it does make you wonder why he bought Morgan (potential replacement?)
You know how NP works Horsham, he´ll be going for it next season that´s for sure. Bring on the summer transfer window. "DERBY, DO YOU REMEMBER WHAT IT´S LIKE TO BEAT LEICESTER ?"
