We have had a lot of money roll in this season. Hopefully Martin can strengthen appropriately and we can be in a stronger financial situation. I know we're not going to do a scunthorpe (a club with £0 debt) but it eases the mind a bit.

I don't think we should spend much if any more money at the moment. All managers want to buy in more players, but it appears at the moment that the squad is good enough.Spend some in an emergency or at the end of the season to guarentee promotion if necessary, but if I was Scally I'd hold onto it to invest in the squad next summer, to enable us to be really competative in League 1 to push on for the Championship.
I very much doubt we will spend more in this transfer window but we may spend in January. I personally don't think it is necessary to spend anymore at the moment as we have a decent side and a good level of depth.
Davies and Essam are pretty pacey for centre backs aren't they? I wouldn't want to sign a new centre back for him just to sit on his laurels for the entire season, I'd say keep the money and there are plenty of free agents to check out as the season continues.
Yes both youngsters are pretty quick but Frampton and Barrett probably only have another season or two left so I am looking to replace them as opposed to replacing Davies or Essam. And only when Flanagan goes back to MK
