Just caught humberside, burnsy seemed to mention something about gilks being linked with city. Not sure exactly what the link is but an interesting one. I saw he was likely to leave Blackpool (out of contract?), but think he'd impressed in the PL.

god that pic above reminds me of one of my trainees who has (how do you explain this..) let's say the perfect shape to perform something naughty but nice.. and I have to sit opposite her for two hours every week pretending to be professional but fighting a stiffy..

erm yes Gilks... he let a lot in though didn't he.. if he was any good Blackpool would have qualified for the CL with their attack..
To be fair think it was the defence rather than him. Hes a pretty gd keeper, a good shot stopper.
Blackpool took that much of an attacking mentality that the defence had no chance.
It might work for Man Utd but it's never gonna work for a relegation threatened side. Can't blame the keeper for that.
