JULIO CESAR THEN ?
Oh no...Green is better![]()
The reason Green played ahead of Cesar was not based on quality, but other issues. Valbuena is better than his equivalent of Phillips or Hoilett
I got the impression whilst watching Valbuena at the WC that he's a skilful play-maker as opposed to a pacy winger?
I'm confused about this, I thought he was played on the wing in the absence of Ribery. According to Wiki he is 'an attacking midfielder and a winger', so both seems to be the answer.
His legs are almost as short as Gerd Muller's. Which could be a recommendation in itself. Low centre of gravity = hard to knock down.
