    I see Richards as being City's equivalent of Steven Taylor, lots of potential as a young player coming through, but for whatever reason hasn't gone onto to fulfil it. Ultimately, they have hit a level and don't appear to be able to improve. Coaching? Attitude? Application?

    I'm not convinced at all with Richards. Pretty poor defensively and gets caught out all the time. Boundless energy and a good attitude but not the best defender. I do wish we'd stop looking to France and buy some English players though.
