All 3 have been top drawer in their own right. All the same, very encouraged by the way City have played today, a far cry from the Hull and Spurs away games <ok>

Their goals have been good but it does flatter them a bit.

Quite a bit, although as soon as Aaron Ramsey came on, they found the rhythm that they lost when Flamini went off.

Listening to Trevor Francis on this stream has pissed me off far more than the result

I know I have criticised Hughton in the past, but I hope no one starts calling for his head after this. There was nothing wrong in our approach or our style. Arsenal deserved to win, but not by that big a margin. If we play like that for the rest of the season we will be fine.

ho hum, still doesn't feel like a battering. Arsenal have the quality that we are lacking but a spirited performance and I am not at all disheartened. Maybe that has got something to do with Sunderland, Cardiff and Hull all losing and Man Utd failing to win at home - AGAIN <laugh>

Spanked yet again, defeat next week against Cardiff and Hughton will be on borrowed time. Hugely disappointing season so far we are already embroiled in a relegation battle and it's only the middle of October

Exactly... plenty of time to go.

Hughton can't win, ''don't'' go for the win and narrowly lose the fans want him out, go for it and lose by 4 really good goals and they still want him out.

If we play like we have against Chelsea and Arsenal with teams around us and we will be fine.

KIO, really, i thought we were very good today at times. We conceded at the end mostly due to having taken Tettey off for Hoolahan. Judge the team on the Cardiff game not this one or the chelsea game, both of which i felt we played quite well in.

It's quite funny to see the people say stuff "oh well we got beat by 4 classy goals" and all that. If Cardiff knock in 2 great goals will they say the same?

So just how many points 'should' we have after 8 games - bearing in mind 5 of the sides we've played so far are among the top 7 league positions at the moment.
If you couldn't see a marked improvement against Chelsea and Arsenal compared to Hull and Spurs a month ago, you're blind.

Excellent performance today! Arsenal are the form team in th prem and we matched them for much of the game.

Yes Arsenal had more cutting edge than Norwich, but the fact we can't match Arsenal's world class moments in the final third is no cause for panic!

Orrrr...beat Cardiff, go ~15th, and don't look back. Like vs. Chelsea, we played well today for extended periods of time, but the class of the opposition told over 90 minutes, and Arsenal were class. If we play that well in our next home games against Cardiff, West Ham and Palace, we'll pick up enough points that I'd be fairly convinced we'll be out of the relegation zone by the end of November at the latest.
