I wasn't there of course but as you say theblues, anyone can look bad if there is no one to pass the ball to and/or they are given the ball in bad positions. The latter can be helped a bit by getting into better positions to receive the ball but if it doesn't come when you want it, it can be a bit disheartening. Other team members should always be running into spaces to provide an instant option for their team mates under pressure. If that's not happening it's a bit worrying and is not consistent with what I'm hearing about Waddock's squad selection philosophy.
the cold hard facts are rendell was up against a man mountain defender and not many strikers are gonna get any change off of him this season, but having said that i was still dissapointed with his display
We need the fans to get behind the players at all times and the players have a duty to their paying spectators to give at least 100% at all times. Everyone has an off day though and it's the manager's job to either get them going or replace them. Being heckled by your own fans is not the best motivation for anyone.
guy i really hope we dont end up talkin about bully every week on here because that tells you we were under pressure for most of the game.lets hope we are talking about how well we have played.last season bully was immense but this season i would rather he didnt get a mention and the team done the talking.there are some very good sides in this division and hopefully we can match and even beat them and stay up ,but only time will tell
Hoorah, have we found our season scapegoat already? Let's boo him until his confidence is shot....then boo him some more...then he can go and score goals elsewhere. Simples.
