Managed to somehow snag two tickets in LL2B which I think is just below plat club. Can't believe the tickets are only £20 quid each.
they easily could have put the prices up and still sold out If we get to the final ? I can't see Wembley tickets being £20 a shot ( greedy bastards )
@Sweet Baby Jesus has already said he is giving me mine for free. I will be back in UK in February. Just booked the Holiday Inn in Walsall so see you all there.
Brighton tickets on sale on thursday. Just a reminder to everyone buying, if we get through to the final, the game with Brighton will be postponed, so don't make any plans just yet.

Not like we've ever getting close to a 2 legged game to have made me pay attention. Which begs the question in why the hell its over 2 legs on not 1
It is an odd one that they throw this in at the semi-final stage. I suspect it is so that they are more likely to get the better teams qualifying for the final, so more people will watch it, the better team being more likely to win over two legs. They like the upsets in the early rounds, as the smaller teams take it more seriously, but want them out of the way by the time the final comes round. Suspect with all the changes going on in the Champions League soon, they will drop it to 1 game in future years.
Just read they've done away with it in European competitions n all. It's things like this, the favouritism to the so called elite teams that does my tits in and I'll still feel the same if we ever ascend to that level too.
Think they did away with the away goals rule a couple of years ago for European Competitions, but the point of it was to try and encourage more attacking football. Too many teams were going to defend the away legs and try and nick a goal on the break and then just defend that at home. Now there is an equal weight to a home and away goal so encourages teams to be more attacking (I think). What I find annoying is that they are talking of modifying FA and League Cups to allow the Champions League etc to be expanded. Moving them both to midweek, allowing teams involved in Champions League to come in later (although come to think of it if we can finish top 4 this year, it might mean we can finally get past the 3rd Rnd of FA Cup for first time in ages).
