Sounds like they have adopted the Indonesian queueing system - A free for all at 10am tomorrow. Anyway apparently Chippy has promised to get tickets for each of the Moderators so we don’t beed to get involved in the mayhem.
I read a post on Twitter that I thought made a little sense. They were wondering if this whole exercise of the 1000 tickets was to gauge demand and could possibly lead to decisions on extension or relocation
You should write to them and complain - I thought it was illegal to post sense on Twitter. If they are holding seats for individual purchases for members/general public its a very supporter-centric thing to do. It would have been easy to just put all available up for season tickets, guarantee the upfront income and reduce the hassle of doing the regular sales. Think we will have to have a serious update of our ticket site. One thing that Man Utd did very well was the tickets: - no cards - all generated on your phone - transfers done online by entering transferee details (name, address, email, DOB, phone number) making it harder for touts to get hold of them - if people wanted a paper version they could print a PDF but it had the holder details on Our ticket sales still seem to be pretty basic. Despite all that I didn't renew them. Thought it might be quite easy to buy a Newcastle one but Chippy has promised if I wear mustard chinos I can use his when he has to get to Pouchy's on a matchday.
True. I have unhindered access to 4 if I want them.. it's just a lottery predicting if I'll be in the UK or not for each game right now.. hence why I gave mine up. I prefer away days though still. Again, due to Baz's loyalty points we can get up to 4 for every away day (incl European to come).
Wonder if there will be another queue for the membership tomorrow. You'd think they would have said they are unlimited so as to stop everyone piling on again at 10am.
