I'm just going by what the box office staff said. Then again, they've came out with various **** that has been wrong in recent days, weeks, months, years.
Major construction would be needed you cannot just bolt on a stand to an existing stand that is over 50 years old this will take time
We can only expand the Gallowgate, don't think we'd have to reduce capacity, we didn't when level 7 was built.
Hell of a lot more involved. They will likely need to include a road through or under a stand for starters for access to RVI.
It can overhang the road. Old Trafford has a stand like it with the road underneath. Anyway, that would only take it to about 58k. If they can't touch the East Stand we are gonna have to build a new ground.
They've said they don't want to build a new ground. They want to expand SJP and believe they can get to roughly 60,000 - 65,000. My thinking is they will be waiting for the go ahead for safe standing before starting any works. Trial results will be out soon
Imagine if they add another tier to level 7, let's have the biggest stand(s) in the world You legit would need binoculars then like.
The only feasible extension is the gallowgate. You cannot do the east stand because of the Grade 1 listed buildings thing. The gallowgate is the one above the shops, outside. You couldn't extend anywhere else and expect people to be happy with the view.
Metro lines stop before the ground starts I think. Gallowgate station is end of the line and the drivers just hop ooot their seats and walk to opposite end of train.
I mean, some on here would have the Leazes just over hanging the town moor, the gallowgate overhanging the tyne bridge and the milburn overhanging the airport
