Just looked and the midweek before Arsenal is league cup so if either us or Arsenal are in that it's prob deffo gonna be on the Saturday, unless they make us play Tuesday-Friday

I'd say there is a very high percentage chance that the game will be selected for television. If either us or Arsenal have a champs league game the following Tuesday then If I was placing bets I'd say it will be the Friday night or the Saturday lunch time kick off.

 

I'm getting an uneasy feeling about this, Arsenal are away to Brentford and we have City

 

We play Dortmund on the following Tuesday - As in 3 days later from the scheduled Saturday. I'm convinced its getting changed to the friday night now.

If we or Arsenal are in the league cup and either of us get scheduled a game on the Wednesday, then the Arsenal LEAGUE game HAS to be on the Saturday, if Arsenal and us get given Tuesday LC games it could then still get moved to the Friday.

Or something.

 

Think you could be right, there's no EPL games scheduled for tv that weekend, I'd say they needed the CL fixtures first and then they'll do a bit of juggling or it will be a 5.30 KO on the Saturday

 

Unless there is a rule of no Friday PL games in the same week as cup games, which there probably is.

99% sure Arsenal game will be the Saturday, i think it has to be basically.
