£44 to £74 a ticket, you can't choose which or choose your seat, this isn't going down well.

Is that seriously the deal with these ballots? You can get a randomly assigned ticket at a price you don't know or agree to?

**** it bring back the mad scramble at 10.00am for tickets...

Personally, as long as I got a ticket, I couldn't give a toss if it was £44 or £74.

Can you at least choose the area? I'm assume plat club is more expensive?

Newcastle fans complaining about prices need to realise you can't have it both ways. Ashley was cheap so was the ticket.

Makes no sense. Then why the difference in price? Surely you pay extra money because you want a better seat category? So you could pay £44 and be placed in Plat club or £70 to be placed at the back next to the away fans?

I don't mind the price, it's the system that sucks.

It won't work like that. You'll HAVE to pay the fee for the seat you're allocated. The price will be set by the quality of the seat.

You put your card details in and if selected they take the money out at whatever price ticket they give you.

It's all bullshit like, even NUST have written a complaint about it.

So someone who can only afford a standard seat has to just pray the ballot doesn't place them in Plat club or else they're ****ed?

Surely it should be that you get to pick the area, and then just get a random seat in that area?

That means someone who could afford plat club may not get a seat there but someone who cannot afford it gets placed there.

    It's stupid.

That's a massive gamble, so someone who's not well off has to hope they don't get placed in the plat club and get charged massive amounts.

    it's stupid.

I know last season wasn't perfect but it was enough. You got a random place in the queue and just selected a seat.

Yea there was nothing wrong with it last season, a bit of a queue so what, at least it was somewhat in your own hands as to whether you got a ticket or not.

They've tried to fix something that wasn't broken and they've ****ed it.

First big thing the new owners have done wrong.

Realistically, if you want to go into the ballot for a chance at a ticket, be prepared to pay up to £74 each. You might get a cheaper one, or you might not get one at all.

Budget for that. It's not rocket science. It's a potential one off hit of £74, not an eternal commitment.

The entitled NUST had written a complaint on behalf of the fans. Seriously if they can't afford it **** off.... they complain about Ashley now they complain about prices... they need to increase prices simple as that.

Other people will buy the tickets.

See that the lads that are able to be there, bang on time with 18 browsers open are not happy about this.

Admittedly, it would make sense to have a maximum price option for those that don't want to be included in the more expensive seat ballot. I'd just put in £74 each time and have a better chance.
