Want City to lose, obviously, but I don't know if I'll be able to put up with all the bullshit from Arsenal fans about how wonderful their one man team are.

I really hope they sell Van Persie so we can watch them slide down the league.

if chelsea get any criticism for losing at one of the worst teams in the league, then i'm afraid the brutal persecution of the club by the media has gone one step to far..

Well Thursday's match against Spurs was already set up to be an important game - with this result, both Spurs and Chelsea will view Thursday (perhaps Chelsea more so if Spurs beat Sunderland tomorrow) as an absolute 'must win'

Roll on Thursday - gonna be a cracker :D

I just want an open title race and nobody to 'run away with it'.

Spurs will win tomorrow, City probably will too.

    I think it will finish:

    Man City
    Man Utd
    Chelsea
    Tottenham
    Liverpool
    Arsenal

Agree with your top 3 but I think 4th will be between Arsenal or Spurs and Liverpool will end up 6th.

Arsenal's position depends, almost entirely, on whether or not RVP stays fit - going on previous seasons, he's nearly always injured for a good while (still waiting for that :D). I also think if Suarez gets banned for a long period of time (> 3 games) then Liverpool could struggle, especially when you add in Lucas's injury.

I think there'll be a gap between 2nd and 3rd and then 3-6 will all be pretty close tbh.

sorry i meant drew, what came in to my head ;) , in that case then we can look forwards to the press reporting on a heroic away point at a very difficult ground to visit..

The scousers will probably spend big again in january, and unless Arsenal spend cleverly, they will finish above you. They will still miss out though <ok>

Spend big on what? A load of utter **** again probably. We are missing Wilshere and we are still ahead of them. I have zero doubts that we will pull away from them. Infact Liverpool should be embarrassed. No European football and they are still behind us in the league.

Jose, Suarez and Adams haven't been 'utter ****e.'

We've only lost 3 games this season, our problem is finishing our chances. Arsenal on the other hand are worrying to keep there only decent striker fit or hopes he doesn't move, if Suarez doesn't play we still have the players to score, if Arsenal lost Van Persia they have no one to score consistantly.

Hope AVB sees the light after today, i really do not understand them 3 substitutions, if your a manager and your going to make 3 subs out of the bench we had mainly Josh,Torres,Malouda,Mikel and Kalou would you honestly put Mikel, Malouda and Kalou on instead of Torres baring in mind Drogbas having a absoulete mare of a game? Sturridge must be feeling pissed off and wondering what he has to do to get 90mins, **** knows whats going through Torres' head right now and i feel even more sorry for Romeu considering he was one of our best players in the first half and we took him off to go more attacking obviously but why then put Meireles in the holding role when he was doing far less than Romeu and was also a booking away from being banned for the spurs game.
Weird substitutions and i'd like to know why we looked like we were all united and together on monday and today there was no spirit whatsoever

Why should they be embarrassed? They beat you at home and are in the semi-final of the only Cup they've participated in to-date. Where the league is concerned, you need to learn to keep your feet on the ground as we arent even half way yet.

Could have been loss too, had the ref given the lescottesque penalty shout

As for the goal, the keeper shouold hang his head in shame never mind the CBs two of em, keeper had a week to get to Sturrige before he took it down yet he stood there looking.

Am actually feeling sorry for you lot after that game. With Martinez as manager you would go a long way, with AVB it's simply a disgrace. AVB's treatment of Torres is shameful, the public humiliation has left Torres a clearly broken man psychologically and at the end of the day AVB has pissed on a £50 million investment by your owner. To do that to a man of Abramovich's alleged reputation is confirmation of his stupidity.

Abramovich should get rid of him, bring in a decent interim manager, play Torres and eliminate the disruptive influences from the club. You need Drogba, Lampard, Terry and possibly Cole out of there. They're destroying your club.

    HISTORY CARD.

Its been played. Would not have expected anything else. Back to the present, crisis club Arsenal are 3 points ahead of a rejuvenated Liverpool side led by 'King' Kenny. Also rans of English football? Last time I checked we won the League the third most times and the premier cup competition in England the second most times.
