By which you mean - you expect us to be joining you up there, or you expect to be joining us down here? Good luck up there - as you are no doubt aware, life is tough at the top.
A draw might have been fiarer but QPR did have the clearer chances. We pressed hard without really pretty their defence under pressure. Nothing game for us..well done QPR and good luck if all goes ok next week!
The latter, but I'll enjoy it while it lasts. I think it'll be a really tough league to get out of next season with the three relegated sides more likely to challenge and Brighton and Southampton unlikely to be near the bottom. If you can re-invest money from selling Graham shrewdly then you never know...
Glad Doyley was good - did you give him a cheer from me? It is those wide open occasions that give me cause to dislike Doyley - so often they led to a goal and unless he creates enough at the other end we lose on balance from those forays - he needs to stay back more or organise who will cover his excursions
One occasion he "ghosted " past 2 qpr defenders and put in a decent cross!(ok one of the defenders slipped) but even so it got a big cheer!
Doyley and Hodson both had good games! we are just too lightweight in midfield and the creative midfielder role hasnt been ably filled yet! although in a couple of years I can see Murray filling that role!
There were a few classic "Doyley" moments....some good.....some bad. Bennett looked ok.....but as soon as Taylor came off they scored two so not sure whether that's coincidental or not.

One exceptional 'Doyley moment' that had us all laughing raucously...but that's the wonder of Doyley. There aren't many players who can make such huge errors and have the fans still on their side. And when he does something really good, the cheer is huge...love it!
