More trouble in the Rookery. Young Murray gets an excellent cross in...he is showing some good touches.
"Hodson has been excellent this afternoon against Tommy Smith." Scott Loach makes a great save. This seems to be typical of him...one minute awful, then very good.
5 added mins. Watford have been attacking trying to get the goal back, while Rs trying to play out time.
A fomer Watford player does the bad thing and scores the winner and the goal that gives QPR the championship.
We're the champions, but not officially :*( Well done on a great season to both teams. Hope to see you better it next year Watford!
Well, you can't say we didn't try. A great team effort, with more missed opportunities which was a shame. We were dogged, it was a great game, such a shame that their fans let them down so royally. Listening to 3CR on the way home there were a lot of Watford fans who had their afternoon spoiled by the fear they felt from QPR fans...a great pity. Good to see Murray looking so promising too Having said that, good for TS to score and not celebrate and it was lovely to see him and Danny ****tu come up to applaud the Rookery . Well done the Golden Boys, thanks for a great season...bring on 3 August!

I think Watford were a little unlucky today. Not so much for the performance....because whilst I thought we were the better team overall we were lacking creatively......in/around the box there wasn't the magic needed to create chances....and when there was they were wasted. The luck I would say falls down more to the officials....who were very poor. No penalty claims so they couldn't get them wrong (though I'm sure they would have)....but all 3 of them were making howlers.....not much went against QPR. QPR had a fair amount of chances...but for me they had less "dangerous positions" but were just very clinical......with Taarabt and Smith you could only expect that though.
We were up against the Champions though - so it is important to get a feel of how we fared - and from what you say Malky has here a team that accounted for themselves pretty well - hopefully the basis for next season and not a struggling one
