    Congrats on your win today.

    <applause>

I had you down for a 4-3 win and after the first half, I though I might have predicted the score right for once!

I bet Bas and co will be pleased for once a Family day went well on the pitch with a cracking game generall and us scoring 3 goals to win.

Must say Prine Buaben looked very assured and the NN chappie did well.

Dickinson was caught out for both goals it seems but hey we've had enough to moan about this season so enjoy the win!

(Just as well considering other results)

Peterborough more than played their part...a game which showed the good side of football played in front of a decent crowd (15k!)

I agree, he had a great game today. I'm guessing he comes off early because he runs out of steam.

He had a great game, definitely that spark we've been missing, it was great to watch some creativity put to good use!

It was a very scary 2nd half!!

    ha, me too! lol

    :) nicely put!

Still big hoofs up to big C, but more passing for sure. Still a lot of balls going to the opposition but it was better.

Good to see you Gordon, how's things?

Nice to have you with us today Poshminx. We have quite missed your contributions to our board. The demise of 606 did us no favours.

Well, that was a massive step forward today. Thoroughly enjoyed the game - if we could play like that every week we'd have nothing to worry about and the crowds would be flooding back. I've not been a big fan of the "journeyman" hiring approach but I thought that Yeates and Hogg were great today, and I'm pleased to admit I was wrong about Nosworthy who looked solid and not just a hoofer but an intelligent passer for a centre back. Other pleasing things...the fact that we played exciting football on the ground again, the fact that Iwelumo looked more mobile and held the ball up well, the fact that Marvin was on fire, the fact that Mapps is still great, the fact we actually got a penalty - from Andy D'Urso! - and scored it! Even Forsyth did a couple of good things. Two of the best things for me though....1) Hodson was phenomenal today, great going forward, some really penetrating runs and passing, and a couple of great last ditch tackles. Good to have him back - just goes to show there are some really talented young players at the club 2) Buaben, first time I've seen him, was MASSIVELY impressed. He IS the creative midfielder we've needed. He must stay in the team.

Just when I was feeling really down about everything, a really enjoyable match against a good Posh side....keep it up guys.

Maybe the doom and gloom merchants on here shouted enough to make sure that their opinions were taken as correct?

What to do when Eustace is fit again?!

I am so glad things are looking up for Iwelumo. I have felt desperately sorry for him, and it does look as if his poor start was due to his fitness levels.

Great to hear the positives for Buaben.

I think Dyche lucked out today in that his hand was forced by injuries. That said, as long as he sees sense and keeps the Prince and Hodson in the side, we might have seen the turning point. He might swap Forsyth for Kightly on Tuesday if available - whatever, he needs to instruct whoever is left wing to give Dicko some protection.

I feel for Eustace, but it really has to be him, Hogg and Jenkins battling for the holding midfield slot, because as demonstrated today, an attack-minded midfielder is a must.

Hi folks- chuggling along in bottom gear here. Not too good,
Even less mobile than I was, and trying to find out why my sodium level keeps dropping (makes me feel absolutely sh**e) but at present at least no indication of the return of the dreaded lymphoma.
Anyway, thanks for asking. I do dip to the site in fairly frequently, just not energised enough to join in much.

Was hoping that he'd be up against The Disappearing Man, Will Buckley - but he appears to have actually disappeared as he's not featuring in Brighton's team. Injured or found wanting - wonder which?

just got home after nightmare traffic. but nothing is going to ruin my mood today, Yeates Prince Forsyth and hodson played so much better today, the defence certainly still needs some work but if watford continue to play like that for the rest of the season then surely we cant go down. I think watford were definately the better team however that posh winger did Dickinson every time which was a cause for some concern

not as good as it should have been. I dont think Posh could believe they were losing to a team on form like watfords and every watford supporter was so nervous, I think 90% of that crowd presumed Posh were going to equalise in the last few minutes
