Oh dear oh dear oh dear - the phrase "those who live in glass houses" springs to mind - not really very clever are you

As for the professional football match between Watford and Leicester - I would say "professionally speaking" you understand - there is a good chance that the Watford professional football team will beat the Leicester City professional football team by 2 goals to 1 and the Watford supporters will profess their delight at the professional match.

    gettit?

We might have a crap ground but we have a pretty thread. Thanks Ak.

Home win by one. 1-0, 2-1, 3-2 any more goals for the Hornets and I'll be in the funny farm.

Spelling professional 'proffesional' is the most unprofessional spelling it is possible for a professional to do. Not only putting in two 'f's, but missing an 's'. FFS.

Anyhoo, bak 2 da mach. With Pompey going into admin I reckon we're as good as safe already - I think we should play a wildly experimental line up:

    Loach GK

    Hodson RB
    Mariappa CB
    Nozza CB
    James LB

    Murray RM
    Hogg CM
    Eustace CM
    Kaka LM

Forsyth ST (a better target man than deeney or iwelumo and an eye for goal)
    Garner ST

I'm presuming you said that tongue-in-cheek? James would be the only wild experiment in that line up - baptism of fire so to speak. But it would be good to see what he is capable of :)

Well I was going to put in Whichelow, Massey, Assombalonga, Conor Smith Tommy Hoban and Thompson, but then I realised they're all out on loan.....

As long as the atmosphere is better than their place, which isn't difficult as I thought I was at a wake. No atmosphere, cr@p team<laugh> hopefully the 'Orns can turn this lot over!!! 3-1 to the Golden Boys;)

The atmosphere has improved a lot over the last couple of months... I think there has been a concerted effort to improve this as it has been lacking in recent years.

It is a good match thread no doubt (sorry Lord if you're reading this ).

As for the match itself, I think we go into it as favourites but we have to show some consistency now to go on a winning run that can get us in and around the play-offs. It would be synonymous of our season to win against Cardiff and then to lose against Watford - no offence meant.

I've actually been impressed with Watford this season. I thought they would struggle having lost Mackay, Cowie and Graham but Dyche has done well with them and they seem to have steered themselves clear of trouble and have stabilised and consolidated well this term. Might have to be wary of getting sucked into a relegation battle because they could struggle for the back end of the season having sold Sordell. Won't be easy though and I think we'll have to dig in and produce a gritty performance to get a result - something we haven't done enough this season.

When we came in October, your fans seemed to be all over the ground. There was not much noise, not that we can speak as we are not exactly known for our singing<laugh> especially at the home games!

Our ground is work in progress. Well it would be if Bob the builder got on and finished the Red Lion. Any indication yet as to which Christmas Baz was referring to when he proclaimed the opening date?

I like our ground and and dread the thought of being shunted out to some characterless concrete structure in the suburbs.

I more or less agree with Pete. Most people agree that bits we've bothered to finish are actually quite nice.

Yes - i know we only see the away bits of other grounds, but, the Emirates excepted, I haven't been anywhere that beats the rookery or UR.

AK - Ignore it, there's always one halfwit. He's probably illiterate and is taking his anger out on you. We all know that you do a great job and put a lot of hard work on the article. Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind do not matter and those who matter do not mind.

Funny how the translator got the dative of the article which is greininni, which is difficult, and not mind as a verb which could be huga að (this directly translates as mind to) or gaumgæfa (look at/scrutinize), but is all about usage.
