Whenever I hear/read comments like that, I simply think back to the year we first won promotion to the top flight. On January 30th that year, we won 2-1 at Rotherham and in doing so, kept them firmly second from bottom in the table - deep in the mire. Why do I mention that? Because 3 months later, they finished the season in 7th place, having at one point briefly flirted with a promotion spot. So it can be done - after all a season lasts for 46 games, not 11.
I hope your right BB but feel we just aren't playing the best we can and using the squad well enough.
