Full time, 2-2, phew, Palace much better team after first 20-25 minutes. They pressured us and our passing went astray and we fell deeper and deeper. We'll take a point and move on. Bad day at the office, still 15 games to go so anything possible

That's got to be seen as missed opportunity.
Palace seemed so much more up for it in the 2nd half.
Watford looked so tired and lacked ideas. I was like 2 different Watford teams.
On this showing, I don't think you will be good enough or strong to go up automatically.

Frustrating after that first half an hour... But happy with a point in the end. Played awful that second half but fair play to palace. They dominated and deserved at least that point

Certainly a game of two halves. Wonder if the players coming back from internationals found the 2nd half too tough?

GZ should have freshened up the midfield at half time - we looked very tired.

Gotta say that we looked very tired after the first half hour. Quite why Forestieri was so bad, lord only knows because he wasn't playing mid week. Thought we missed Battochio, Hoggy doesn't quite have the same pedigree anyone agree or disagree?

Still stuck in the car park but what a disappointing game. Not sure who came out second half but it wasn't any Watford team I recognise. Started very poor 2nd half and got a lot worse when Vydra went off.

Tired is definitely the word I would use to describe us in the second half...

As has already been said, with the defeats to Charlton and Palace credit has to go to both away teams for not allowing us any time to hold up the ball/pass it from defence to feet.... having said that there seemed a distinct lack of intensity about Watford tonight. We lost out on too many 50-50s, several misplaced passes, ball not sticking up top. Several issues may have contributed to this not least the midweek action for Vydra (in particular), Chalobah (the knock too - hopefully no repercussions from that awful challenge) and Hoban. Another potential issue is that the players may be starting to think they just need to turn up - I very much doubt Zola will let them and hope this is not the case.
Anyway, lets finish on some positives.... a point against a promotion rival in a game in which we were average at best for 2/3rds..... 3rd in the table is much better than any of our wildest hopes at this stage in the season..... dont have to hear that twat Holloway bleat on about how he wishes he had a rich owner of a big club to send him the reserve team on loan..;)

Great result that for us and Cardiff (Hull too I guess) and we have 2 games in hand over Watford and Palace now....long way to go though as you say.

Blimey - that 2nd half must have been one of our worse all season!

Lack of energy, defensive shape apart from Hoban and passing.

Palace probably ought to take some credit with that half time change they made which was a good move but we really let them controlled too much.

Somebody like Eustace might have been useful coming on to break their attacks up.

Shame as we started very well and Abdi's goal was classy.

Probably the most vocal set of away fans we've had at the Vic for some time...

FF had a nightmare but then even Vydra looked knackered and Deeney for once not his usual self in the air.

Mind you I thought we would have to settle for a point before the game and so long as Zola/players known we weren't at our best sure we'll be fine next week.

Palace did a good job in pushing up and putting pressure on the defenders and midfield and forcing us into poor passing or getting rid too early. I still am not convinced with FF as a CF and he lost possession too easily, although the ref seemed to penalise him every time. Vydra and Deeney just did not click tonight and a lot of players looked tired, so a week off will be welcome.
We must have them crisp boys worried as they keep coming on here...

Games in hand mean nothing unless you win them.
