Not particularly, though he has scored for us before this season and if I remember correctly it was a banger too....not as far out though.

I have to chuckle at the distinct lack of City supporters on here now!! Could it be something to do with the fact that they were actually pretty crap on the night??

We gifted them 2 goals, 1 we fell asleep hoping to coast into half time 2-0 up. The second was a balls up by Mapps who should know better than to pass it back between the posts!! and Loach who could maybe have controlled it first.

However, i think it was a great first half from us up until the City goal, we were the more dominant side and could have had another goal or two. As soon as Dicko hit the ball we knew it was going in; it was just struck perfectly!! Then Yeates went close with his free kick and had James scrambling. Then he went one better to hit the bar from about 40 yards with Beattie doing well to head in the rebound.

Second half, it was dull dull dull. No-one bossed it although i would give it to city as they were passing better and the 5-man midfield was nearly impossible to break down. However, we did a few times and went close. I have explained who is at fault for the equaliser and stick to that.

The officials were appalling, Watford could have had 3 penalties in the 2nd half alone!! Sean Dyche said after the match that Deeney was clearly fouled as he won the ball in the area. There were also 2 hand-ball decisions i feel he got wrong!! Then we have the decision to allow injured players to stay on the pitch and then walk off! If a player is injured he should walk off the pitch and if he cannot walk he needs the stretcher!! Then to cap it all he only gives 3 minutes of added time at the end of the 2nd half!! James was down for 2 mins, then the City defender was down for 2 and there were 4 subs at 0:30secs each. So in total there should have been at least 6mins!!!

Its nice to see that i provide entertainment for you guys. He certainly heard me, you could see that he was trying his hardest to ignore me. I am genuinely surprised the steward next to me did not have a go, instead he just laughed.

Kightly has been great since he overcame his injury. Its a good job he extended his loan. Dicko does try those shots, but does not hit the target often.

<laugh> he definitely heard you, he'd have to be deaf not to have heard you! And like you, i was surprised that the steward didn't say a word...but then...they don't often, unless there's more than one of them ;)

I don't know why we keep going on about penalties. We don't get them, generally, that's a fact, and we aren't going to. Perhaps our strikers are too honest and don't fall down. If they did I can see them picking up yellow cards for feigning.

Ricky Lambert at Southampton has scored five penalties this season, Watford's last five scored were Peterborough Oct 2011, Cardiff City Dec 2010, Coventry May 2010, Doncaster Jan 2010 and Cardiff City March 2009. I appreciate a team at the top is generally attacking more so have more opportunity to acquire penalties and we have not been a table topper for a while now, but even when we were penalties as a rule were a lot fewer and farther between than some teams manage.

'I have to chuckle at the distinct lack of City supporters on here now!! Could it be something to do with the fact that they were actually pretty crap on the night??"

Really the reporter on sky sports said there was only one team in it apparently and that we were battering you! I was at the game personally and didn't see it quite like that but you certainly weren't all that. If we had been half as good as were on saturday we would have beaten you.

No City supporters to comment now cos we have our point, we move on! Bigger fish to fry.

<laugh> yes, but like you, everyone that was there saw what was really going on. We're not great at the mo, and it wasn't our best performance, but we managed to hold you back, as we knew we would, because our defense is strong. You would have loved to have been able to play like you did on Saturday, but we didn't let you...yay us :)

Enjoy frying your fish..have fun for the rest of the season :)

Bristol City manager Derek McInnes told BBC Radio Bristol:
And thats from your supposedly all powerful manager!! I think we know what really happened!! Even the stats back up my evaluation!!

    Possession

Watford 46% Bristol City 54%- I said you dominated possession 2nd half

    Attempts on target
Watford5 Bristol City5- nothing special seeing as you were going to demolish us according to many of your fans

    Attempts off target
    Watford5 Bristol City5- as above

    So we dominated possession?

Had the same shots on and off target as you even though we were the away side?

and those stats back up your evaluation? Your name is not Keith Millen is it?

Its all objective but I am fairly confident at our recent best we would have won. hey ho, on we go!

BTW, The vast, vast majority of City fans did not think we would demolish you.

2nd half you had more possession yes, like i said. We had more the first half, hence the two goals, and then 2nd half you had more.

You had the same shots cos you had the 5-man midfield which as i said was hard to break down!

The stats back up my evaluation in saying that we had the best of the first half and you had the better of the 2nd.

I never said it was a majority, i just said many of your fans. About 5-6 predicted you winning by 2 or more goals!!
