Tommy Hoban has been excellent all afternoon, not put a foot wrong. Another chance wasted. Vydra shoots..keeper saves.
Thanks to BuzzardFoxMick..good of you to come on here and say what you did. Need the foot troops from Watford to come on now and say that it was as good as it sounded.
Watford manager Gianfranco Zola: "They made it very difficult for us, but there were times in the game where we played very well. "I thought the first goal was excellent and the movement of the team was very good. After that, we kept playing good stuff but after 30 minutes they came back strong and they made it difficult. "But fortunately we did not concede in the first half and in the second half we changed gear and we were slow until the end."
I wish the team wouldn't put us through the ringer. What a great game. 2-1 certainly flattered Leicester but in the end they could have nicked a point so we need to improve our finishing and final passes. To a man they all looked really sharp today. Chalobah seemed to struggle to find a pass in the second half but he's been so good that to give him a hard time almost seems churlish but he did almost cost us on more than one occasion. Defensively we looked pretty stable and their goal was a genuine shock as we seemed to have the measure of them. A major plus was the way that despite Leicester setting up to stop our midfield they failed miserably because our passing is becoming sharper every game. To anyone out there who can make a game do so, you'll not regret it and we need to improve the sub 11000 home support we seem to be wallowed in.
It was beautiful to behold. Tom James was heavily involved, as an ex hornet I wonder if there was extra fire there. They were flopping all over the place. Yet not one of them was booked for it. There were 5 subs so thats 2:30 and the players who clashed heads were down for 3/4mins so it was about right. I think thats a fair analysis. We still lack that final touch or pass though. But an improvement none the less.

Very good win which we deserved and should have made a bit easier at the end! Cannot really complain about anyone's performance...2 well worked goals. Roll on Tuesday.
