Some interesting comments on one of the Hammers' forums, ranging from things like "Swansea aren't really very good" to "We beat Spurs away so should win this" ...well we'll see won't we. On Bony, I thought this one was very astute (after many of their supporters said he won't pose any threat): "People are way too quick to judge a player, especially strikers new to the country. This time last season every man and his dog was saying how pony Giroud was - now he's the form striker in the league. I also remember plenty slagging off paying £7m for Benteke until he found his feet a few months in - now worth £25m+ one year later. If you think you know all about a striker after 7 games in a new league you're dreaming" Swans fans take note.
IF he gets the service he's entitled to, I have no doubt that Bony will be brilliant for us. When we bought him we knew that he wasn't a mobile striker who dragged the defence here there and everywhere before popping up to score (eg Suarez), so why do we play as if he is? HE IS NOT! So give him the service he thrives on and he will score goals. It's not rocket science. Mind you, it might be easier to teach some of our players the basics of rocket science as opposed to getting them to play some decent balls into the box.
Nice thread, KDA. Is KDA similar to DNA? Clearly a game that we will be hoping to win. At the end of 3 games in 9 days I'm not so sure. I'll go for a hopeful 2-1 win.
What time is face off against West Hampton tomorrow? http://www.kpopstarz.com/articles/4...ction-highlights-score-english-premiere-l.htm
we can win this but we need to up the tempo as we have seen the way the hammers totally outplayed spurs recently. Bony needs to up his game and if shelvey plays then i hope he remembers he has team mates with him and not go it alone...2-0 swans
Agree. When you play possision football you can only win by playing with speed. In the first 50 minuts against Sunderland we did<ent create ****e, because we were moving waaaay to little.
Windy. Have you all remembered to put your clocks back. If not you'll get there too early...or is it too late. I can never work that one out.
High winds and rain showers forecast this evening - not conducive to attractive passing football. Shelveys long balls could end up in the East Stand
We should win this but West Ham are good enough to take advantage if we are not on our game. Our passing needs to be slicker, faster and more accurate than in recent games to stop Hammers getting in among us. Oh, and the centre backs need to be careful about the long ball down the middle. We've shipped two awful goals recently after being caught out by a hoof-ball. If all goes well, 2-0. And we need it!!
I'm not my usually over-optimistic self today. Get the feeling this could be a real struggle. I watched Match Of The Day this morning and was thinking if only we could cross balls like that (or at all)! Bony and Michu are both great in the air and we're wasting all that potential. It's been said many, many times already but use the width and actually put some (decent) crosses in. Ok... 1 - 0 to the Swans.
