I think we are going to need something from one of the games against the big boys to be honest and it's looking like arsenal may be our best bet or Man U. Dammit!
and no one likes someone taking the piss out of they team so honours even , other than that good luck for the rest of the season ,
To be fair, other than the belief we would win, has Carrabuh said anything untrue? Are you happy with how Swansea are playing compared to under Rodgers? I suppose given your recent results any win is a good win, but as can be seen from the replays and commentary the goals were all down to how badly we are at defending when playing away from home. Fortunately, it will mean Swansea are good to stay up, which is the silver lining. I'd rather that style staying in the prem to the likes of Pulis, but I have no doubt you've regressed. IMO we are dreadful as a team - we have no defining characteristic as a style so when it goes wrong (as today), we can't pass, can't tackle, can't score, can't defend, can't head the ball, we have no pace, yet also no skill despite our midfielders being small and weak, our defenders are unstructured and out of position, our strikers are anonymous and our 'keeper is regularly blindsided or slow to react. So the fact we only conceded three today is a miracle - all three goals scored were really very soft defending. Swansea of two years ago would have won this game by a significantly greater margin, or at least it would have felt more comfortable. It was bizarre that given how poor we were I still thought we might get something till the third went in. That Norwich will probably stay up will be because the likes of West Brom, Cardiff and Fulham's serve up even greater dross.
You have 2 matches coming up where you should pick up points to stay up! WBA and Fulham should be targeted as wins, wish you all the best, and I do not see you going down at all................
I needed to show some solidarity! I still think we'll stay up. We were undone by a better side today, no question. Hope to do battle again next season. You guys will be safe, us, well it remains to be seen.
Houghton said it like it was after the match, apart from a short spell after half time Swansea were in charge, and we didn't even play N'Gog, Emnes or Vazquez! Was expecting more for Norwich - a twitchy win for us maybe, but we've been playing some really good football of late which is lost in highlights programmes. Boring to watch compared to Brendon? - No way, but we appreciate the finer arts that are lost on many supporters of hoofball. We're only now getting all our players fit so we could gain a few more points before the season's end - TBH I think 3 will be enough but hope we can get 7 - 10. You seem fine regards stating up and hope you do.
Sorry, I was bit pissed (off) last night! A bit strong, but I stand by most of it - we really do not excel at anything specific, which means when we play well we can do a bit of everything, but when we play badly it is a disaster
Anyone watch match of the day last night?, was a tad embarrassing when they highlighted the amount of errors that led to the goals.
A fine win by the Swans and a massive 3pts. I was impressed by how we went about it from the kick off ,we all know you guys have had our number since we both went up together, the tide has been slowly turning though losses,to draws and now a win, we finally have got the measure of your sometimes physical approach mixed in with good football, we are a bigger stronger team when we can put our first choice 11 on the field so IMO this was a win a few of us were expecting even though you are our bogey team!! I wish you all the best and would really like it if you stayed up ,i think you are well capable of getting the points . I think this has been a difficult season for both clubs, i beleive that expectations from both sets of fans have slighty increased the pressure on both clubs to be higher when in actually fact we have maybe lost sight of how hard this league actually is ! Anyway, good luck Norwich, great club, does things the right way and terriffic supporters, we are two peas in a pod in this league, though you are the bigger of the two clubs i feel we are quite close in terms of identity and what we stand for.
Anyone else following the Fulham-Everton game? I can really see Fulham still getting something out of this, just to make this weekend even worse.
