We are still not good enough to get a win, far too dependable, really slow start this season for us for sure, lets hope we are up for three points next game against WBA, our build up play in the final third is far too slow, allowing teams to get numbers back to defend, Laudrup has got to sort out our goal threat, and make it more deadly and quicker!..............<ok>

Spurs - 6 pts - 2 wins on 2 penalties. We go up against United then Spurs and lose - zero points. Tough league.

Poz is a much better link up player than Routs and anybody else. Always looking for the ball, always turning and looking to go forward. I am beginning to see why Shelvey was let go by 'Pool - doesn't haven't it in him to play consistently and our style of football at this level - looked gold against lesser opposition in the Europa league and preseason. Ki should feel aggrieved that he is not in the running for this team - he is so much more poised on the ball than Shelvey and as good as any of the others. Whatever he is not doing in training to make the team he needs to figure it out and make it happen; he has the tools to do it.

Disappointing result. But when we are not playing our best Xi against Prem opposition this is likely to happen. I have to figure we must now win away at West Brom next week or we are going to start to drift behind.

Let's be honest, I think after the first two games we were expected to have zero points <ok>

Man city getting into their sloppy ways again, looks like a Manu and Chelsea race this season then, though maybe Kairdiff for an outside bet!.............<laugh>

I will always speak as i find whether its good or bad and todays poor performance stems from poor team selection, poor tactics and homework not adequately done, the score flattered us big time as they were all over us from start to finish and our big wins over poor opposition in europe has gone to laudrup's and the players heads. If we keep playing as poor as that then anyone can beat us. Is laudrup carrying on where he left off last season with poor tactics and team selection...I hope not...

Ref was awful (better than Man City have been mind) but awful, but i didnt like the 'wait til we're behind then think about Bony' attitude we adopted again, we were clearly second best first half and i would have liked to have seen a change quicker.

Disappointment, you dont expect to get too much away at Spurs, but i didnt feel our approach maximised our chances of getting anything.

Agree about Poz, thought he was intelligent with his play and to me should be pushing for a start. Hernandez had a tidy game today, not convinced about Canas yet.

Problem with Bony is he's too ponderous with ball to feet at the moment, and is an easy target for defenders, and until he adjust to the premiership, he will not start! but Pozuelo looks very good!..............<ok>

Surely Laudrup is to blame for that in that he should have brought in another striker who is ready to hit the ground running by now then. Other clubs record signings play, ours sit on the bench. Either way, he MUST start aginst WBA next week.

we cant blame the ref because we were out played and did not have a clue. I don't mind losing away from home but not the way we approached the game today with players out of position and players not picked. What was the point of bony on the bench for a start. £13 million we paid for him and laudrup thinks its ok to play him in europe but not the bread and butter games. shelvey was ineffective because he was out of position and michu as the main striker while a £13 million striker was not selected.....What was that all about....Laudrup must not put european games as preference over the premiership or we will be so far behind it will be exactly like qpr were last season....

You can't beat 12 men end of.

The ref was a disgrace and ML should come out and complain. Be should be hauled in front of the FA. I could see it wasn't a penalty and I was 200 feet away

It was a penalty dil. you cant trip up a player in your own penalty area as you are asking for trouble. he had to award a penalty for that...

For the penalty that was awarded, Townsend did a Bale and dived.
