It is amazing how much difference one player makes. If he is sick please play forren or Targett, not Fox

Its not that Lukes's great......its Fox being a total liability!

<laugh> Tongue in cheek, but also kinda true.

The worrying thing is that MP prefers Fox to Forren. Fox must bring something to the table.

Forren is far too slow to play LB.

I have always said that the difference between a mediocre team and a good team is often one player and that the difference between a good team and a great team is also often one player.

Funny that someone brought up the film 'field of dreams'. Can't remember where I saw it but a couple of days ago on a thread talking about Saints not being able to fill a bigger stadium (Think it may have been Saintsweb) someone then linked to a youtube clip of the same film.

'Build it and they will come' :)

To my knowledge Forren dosen't and has never played LB in his life. This could be the reason as Fox is meant to be a LB by his squad description. People seemed to think Forren could play LB due to some youtube videos in which he was seen near that position, but this was when the CB's split in possesion of the ball.

I would much prefer Targett to play, but I think Fox will play if Shaw is still unwell.

Richardson can go RB and Clyne LB if needed?

Or even push Yoshida out to RB to combat the hoof ball and Clyne go to LB?

I'd not relish seeing Yoshida vs Jarvis down the flank tomorrow.

True but is it a worse prospect than fox facing anyone down our left flank?

Yoshida did play well at RB against Norwich but, ironically, he had a bit of a mare in that position against West Ham.

Looks like we've got a bit of squad management for tomorrow if the virus info is right.

Are people really coming up with solutions for not putting Fox in the team?......He will clearly play tomorrow if Shaw is ill.

Shaw was reported as ill a few days ago...bet there's a decent chance he will play. Just hope no other person has caught it, such as Lambo:emoticon-0107-sweat

No Fox PLEASE. I like Richardson with Clyne shifted. That has worked well in the past and certainly better than Fox. If there is no Punch or Jrod then i would go with Gaston and Lallana. Not bad subs really up front.

Also a few days ago...JRod missed training, but hopefully he will be okay. Meanwhile, Carroll who was thought might miss this match has passed fitness test...so it's not all bad news:sad:
