One further on Boruc- didn't seem to significantly steadier than Kelv or Gazza, but his throwing was excellent. Started a number of good counter-attacks with those so I vote he gets a run now.
It really was nice to see him rolling it out. Much preferable to the normal "hoof to Rickie and hope his flickon does something" strategy.
The good thing about Boruc is that whatever criticism he gets or however many jeers he gets from the crowd it will never effect him, he has so much self confidence which is proably percieved by most people as being uninterested or lazy. On another note, the 2 crosses that Boruc dropped, would Gazzaniga even of come to get them? i'd say no.
Mixture of both. It was quite amusing watching Arsenal pump long balls towards him! But he was well marked but there were also some awful crosses, shots and touches.
Just watching Football First and I would say that we should have had been awarded a Penalty, Yoshi was quite clearly kicked in the "nuts" inside of the Penalty Area, must be tough though he didn't even wince!
The one by Cork you mean, it would have been a harsh gimme, on Solent at the time they said the Ref. clearly signalled ball to hand at the time, and it was so close to the line it may not have been considered a Penalty anyway.
Want to say how well Ramirez played today...he will be massive for us as he plays more games. The disallowed goal was well taken and he could have earnt a penalty as well.
A penalty for the Cork handball would have been very harsh, he was only a yard away and it was very high on the arm. I don't think you could really complain if the one on Yoshida had been given, however, wild boot from behind that took a large chunk of man before ball.
