Rotherham seem as if they are a physical side. They shoot and Gomes has to palm the ball away for the first corner of the night. Ball comes in and it is headed over.

 

Many passes from Vydra are failing to find one of our players.

Now Vydra runs at their defence, but it holds firm.

 

Wonder if any of our new foreigners are confused to be at the 'New York' Stadium, in Rotherham....

Fabbrini has his ankle tapped again. He is getting a rough time of it tonight.

Not the most exciting of times so far. Not sure that this formation is working.

Gomes has to make a good save to prevent them scoring.

Six fouls on Fabbrini is more than enough for persistent infringement. Guarantee he'll be cautioned for simulation or adopting an aggressive attitude long before the referee starts protecting him.

 

we have possession but do very little with it. we will need to make changes about the hour mark

 

I think I would change it now. The Sky commentator thinks there's only one team in it.

Fabbrini just will not try and go round his defender, he comes inside everytime.

Someone with greater attacking intent would be better.

Vydra gets clattered, ref has a chat with the defender. That would normally have been a yellow card.
