And so it proved. To be fair to you fellas though, you did not deserve to lose that game. A draw would've been a fair result over the 90 minutes. You look a very good side though. Next season you could well go up if you add one or two players.
You talk crap mate. Watford did more than twice as many fouls as QPR and were the dirtiest team I have seen at QPR for ages. If the ref had stamped down on you earlier, you would of had one or two players sent off. QPR made you look good until you scored because they played ****. Once you scored and QPR woke up, they pissed all over you and rightly won the game with 2 brilliant goals. And dont call me names for giving an honest opinion of the game. You should receive a ban for that you tosser.
Now, now then STH, all that twirling is doing your head in. I have read all of the comments here and on your board as I was not around for the game. There is a huge amount of doubt from your friends about the players, the manager and the really poor atmosphere at your place. Those who are objective seem to think that your side were very lucky to get a win, while the rest simply complain like you about how bad this team is, and doubt that the play offs will produce the result that spending all that money deserves. So instead of trying to get people here going, I would try and convince so many doubters on your board that they have a team to get excited over.
You seem to be in a minority with that opinion. The fans I spoke to after the game all said Watford were one of the best teams in a while, and had the best fans/atmosphere of the season.
It is frustrating mate. The team have not gelled all season as they should and we are all unhappy. We were top of the league while McClaren was there and have played like an average championship team ever since. I know Watford were the best team up until you scored because I saw the game. The atmosphere has slowly gone downhill all season because of the negative football under Arry. Your lot have suffered exactly the same for a large part of the season when you lost form. I have no idea if promotion would be a good or bad thing either.
Yes ditto the above.......spoke to some friendly steptoes at White City who couldn't believe they'd won after being totally played off the park. We had a bit of friendly Bon Viveur and then parted ways. I must confess to wishing QPR all the best for the play offs...........a weak moment chaps!
Apart from the usual suspect it's nice to see some very positive comments from QPR fans about our performance yesterday. We really have a lot of work to do over the summer to work on closing games out though.
I know I shouldn't bite but here we go. Until the last minute of the game you were on your own match thread. When the winner came you chose to come over here and have done nothing but throw crap at us since. You never actually posted on your own board's match thread again. Virtually every poster who expressed an opinion said QPR were fortunate to win and only one other poster made reference to the number of yellow cards we were picking up. I can only conclude that you are either a genius who can see things that none of the rest of us can see or you're talking utter nonsense. I'd also suggest you stop playing the victim - you're constantly on here calling people names and slagging off our team so you can't really complain when someone does the same. You could learn from another of your mob who spends a fair bit of time on here Watford R - I don't agree with a lot of what he says but at least he's able to hold a discussion without constantly resorting to childish insults and abuse.

I think these highlights show an even game. The football league show last night made you look second best in the small highlights they showed.
Not surprising - if you look at the running order for the FL show this season, more often that not we're the last game of the Championship round-up and we've been commenting on the apparent anti-Watford bias by the BBC for a long time, including by the local radio station (it doesn't help that 3CR is based in L*t*n).
Well it depends on who we're playing but I think we are usually in the middle which is about right TBH given our general league position. 3CR certainly are very much based around Luton and MK Dons (they are who the presenters support) and their fans are the ones who ring in usually to moan (oddly I've not heard as many Luton fans this season..)
