    Full time 3-0

With four changes 1 début and three coming back from injury I don't think it's such a bad result against a near full strength Man City.

No shame in losing with a weakened side to a team worth hundreds of millions.

Time to concentrate on Championship consolidation (and beyond).

If you look at the stats, we had 10 shots and they had 12 shots, so it's not too different. Damn Luton are winning, I'll wait till the match has finished, oh now it has. they won, damn

14:10 according to Sporting Life, corners 15:2 :emoticon-0111-blush and possession 61%:39%

    Still not too bad though

<laugh> Have no idea what the problem is, whether it's something to do with my laptop or the phone line (ADSL or whatever it is called). I spent the game swapping from 'old player' to 'new player' - and each time I would get 2-3 minutes of ok commentary before it would start fading/slowing down and sounding gravelly. Very frustrating. As well as that, the laptop would run slow for a while - I'd get a message saying shockwave plug-in crashed - and I'd have to close the page and open it again in a new tab. Any idea what a shockwave plug-in is? I swapped browsers during the week from Firefox to Chrome as Firefox kept freezing all the time + would take anything up to 10 minutes to open.

Why are things never straightforward and simple? <grr>

The Shockwave plug-in is an addition to your Internet explorer application that facilitates video and audio. You could try removing it and reinstalling it. I can't speak for other browsers as I use IE9 but this is normally done via the 'Manage Add-ins' tabs of the Tools menu option. You might have some conflicting add-ins that you could remove at the same time.

I also use IE9, but from time to time use Chrome when IE plays up. Sounds right about possible conflicts, but have you tested the speed of your connection. I use http://www.speedtest.net/ and get something just over 2 MG. This is not bad when you consider that I live in the middle of nowhere, but today I was a minute behind Sweden.

It's certainly related to location - I am usually a couple of minutes behind during a game even with a fast (ish) 10 MBps connection.

But you would be surprised that the amount of problems that add-ins can cause to your browsing experience. And they have a sneaky way of installing themselves on the quiet. Get rid of anything that isn't related to Microsoft, Adobe, Real (if you use RealPlayer) and your search provider (Google, Bing etc) and see if that improves things.

I normally charge $50 an hour for this nonsense - but a fellow 'Orn gets a $50 an hour discount. Natch.

Ping 40ms, download speed 6.92 Mpbs, upload 0.36 Mbps.

I have absolutely no idea what any of those figures mean. :(

Cheers Saxet - had a look and saw that I had somehow acquired two flash plug-ins, so I've disabled one of them. Fingers currently crossed.:)

A decent effort..outclassed as expected though and maybe missed Abdi to control midfield more plus Hogg again.

Bond did well in goal which was good for him.

Had a couple of decent chances which could have made a difference.

    Good atmosphere.
