I went to the game....

we were crap.. you were crap, but we had more quality.

Time wasting from 40 mins (ish) onwards is shameful, so I'm glad we scored in time added on.

Only plus points for watford Adrian Mariappa is quality!!!

 

I hope he gets AIDS and dies slowly and painfully.

 

Very few of you Hull fans should be feeling smug!! The majority of you had it down as a no contest with us not even turning up!!

Fairly bad performance, but a great match and a great 3 points. A lot of things do need to improve though.

We were very very lucky to escape from today's game with all 3 points.

The way I saw the game from the east stand (MY OPINION)....

Crowd/Atmosphere - Dog S*it, worst I've know it for ages, a far cry from the Cardiff game, I know Watford must have only brought 99 fans Max. I could hear myself slow clapping ALL game whilst they wasted time !!! Not Good !!!

Dudgeon - Terrible in first half, beaten for pace most of the game, grew into the game more by 2nd half.

Hobbs - Another poor performance, could not place simple passes, looked shakey.

Rosenior/Chester/Brady - Superb Again

Fryatt/McLean - Did Ok, nothing special.

Evans - very quiet again for me.

Koren - Pulled the strings, great winner

Cairney - Too Quiet also for me.

Basso - Hardly involved but was ever present, fair game.

From the off we lowered ourselves to their crap level. We perform better against the sides we are not expected to beat and play much worse against the lesser sides,

Play like this more often and we will find ourselves in Watford's shoes.

Why did we play so S*ite? why was the KC so much like a morgue?

Don't know what your local radio/twitter has been saying but you lot seem to have got the complete wrong end of the stick.

You cam with the plan of spoiling the game, cheating, time-wasting, some ridiculous fouls and generally just being anti-football. The ref was the weakest I've ever seen, he did everything I predicted he'd do after seeing the first few minutes of the game. Eustace could have been sent off for two completely seperate incidentsbut he got away with it (just like in 2008, though I realise neither time actually mattered to City) Dickinson, Doyley and Deeney got away with some horrible tackles and you celebrated both of your goals for over 2 minutes with the ref not caring, only to book our player in the last minute for celebrating a goal . To try and be a bit neutral I should point out that Yeates and Mariappa were very good (through skill rather than cheating).

In short Watford were disgusting today and justice prevailed in the end. You definitely made us work for it, but not in a way you should be in any way proud of, I was very impressed that we still managed to win under these circumstances and to any City fans who think we didn't play well or anything along those lines I think you're missing something. Wasn't a pretty game but that was Watford's choice not ours, the fact we came back twice despite that is a very good thing from our point of view.

 

Maybe it's just me but I thought Hobbs was alright today .

I thought Rosenior was alright as well but no more , certainly not MOTM .

Chester was my MOTM closely followed by Koren .

Watfords time wasting was a disgrace . I'm glad it bit them on the arse in the end .

The Ref was very very weak indeed and the Lino on the East Stand side 2nd half was just as equal !!!

They're keeper handled outside the box but he ignored it despite been in line with it and the Ref booked McLean for a nothing tackle !!!
