imo, alot will depend on who has what left in the tank after the midweek games. cardiif appear down to just one fit striker now so will go 4-5-1, but i tip hull city just to nick it after the frustrations of bristol and doncaster games. whatever the result there is a long way to go but it would be nice for tigers fans to see us in 6th place for the next 14 days. good to see also that brighton appear to be slipping a bit now.

Thats how I see things too Tickler.

I think Brighton may end up in free fall now. I would love to see up just inside the play off spots in 6th for 2 weeks for the international break if we manage to beat Cardiff

if the tigers do win the cardiff game then thats a 100% certainty as nobody else can pass the tigers who would be on 17 pts.

the season has a long long way to go and NP kids are improving game by game. with pusic and macca playing a bit last night and Oli and Stewart not far away after the international break the squad has more options. dawson wont be far off either. the 2nd half @ bristol and the 1st half @ donny were really enjoyable overall and the improvement made already from the start is vast. the tigers will only get better, imo.

Well, we've only conceded more than 1 three times this season and 2 of those occasions were in the Carling Cup when our 2nd choice defence was playing....

We've only failed to score in 1 game (v Leicester last Sunday) so on current form the least we should expect is a 1-1.. BUT, when did the Championship ever dishout results that were expected (apart from our 6 points v Leeds and Bristol City that is :smiley-finger007:)

Always looking for the next messiah. Anyone fancy a start for Pusic after his MOTM performance for the reserves?
Also can anyone who saw the game comment on his performance?

--------------- Hull City Team News --------------

Paul McKenna remains the main injury concern ahead of this weekend's home game against Cardiff City.

The midfielder missed Tuesday's draw at Doncaster with a dead leg and decision on his fitness will be left as late as possible.

Other than that, Assistant Manager Craig Shakespeare reported only run-of-the-mill bumps and bruises on Thursday and nothing to cause too much concern.

Paul McShane and Martin Pusic, who both returned from injury in the reserves on Wednesday night, are unlikely to be added to the squad for Saturday and are set to be handed another run-out in a behind-closed-doors game next week.

well apart from Hulls debacle @ leeds no other championship side have scored more than 1 against us so it looks like 1-1 or 0-0 is on the cards. but i will stick to a narrow hull city win.
