I do not like cheating but I see Watford playing well and suffering so many times. The BBC said he was fouled and fell down easily, is that diving? So many of the new footballers have bad balance and fall over so easily also perhaps the referee did not read the "no penalties for Watford" note from the FA.

wish i'd managed to go, but fantastic win, some great performances and Forestieri is going to be fun to watch...quite a character by all accounts. Had heard very good things about him from those in the know, and he proved his worth this afternoon! :)

    Fabulous, couldn't be happier!!!!

Well done to the travelling fans, have a safe journey home :)

Can't wait til Tuesday now! lol

Yeah we don't get many - never have. In fact I always thought there was an FA rule which says if a Watford player leaves the ground in the opponent's penalty area you have to give a free kick against him. Anyway, haven't seen it so reserving judgment till i have - but like others wouldn't be happy if he cheated.

Regardless, great result - well done the lads.

After that game you have to wonder if there is team that will be outstanding in the Championship.

http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/19684243 I was getting upset because we lost again, but i looked at the commentary and it said that that we'd won 3-2. yay. oh and apparently there were no subs. oh if bbc update the page since, it said that we'd lost 1-0 at the top. oh and this
http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/19684133 liverpool won 2-0 and it was full time at 88 mins. Luis Suarez scored a hatrick, gerrard and sahin scored for liverpool and morrison and grant holt scored for norwich, but it ended 2-0. says 2-0 at top

Problems with the info from the Press Association which feeds the info to Sky and the BBC among others. I must say that SSN did keep the rolling score bar and the side panel with the latest scores up to date as much as possible. Regarding the penalty, there was no mention made by the SSN reporter of any suspicion of Forestieri going down too easily.

The BBC is a real mess today.

According to the table we are now 11th after picking up six points.

Now that the dust has settled, the yappy Terriers are quietly crying into their Tetley's and we've come down from Cloud 9 - am I right in thinking that Tommie Hoban had an excellent debut?

Top result and great pick Hornette. 35/1. Cracking. I might add you can still get 66/1 on us for the title with victor chandler. That is honestly not the worst bet you could make!

Just back....great day out, although I was hanging from last night. Very good result and more signs of improvement and one-size looked very good, but still sloppy defending for their second. Their fans were not happy about our "diving", but it was a clear cut penalty for me, although at times some of our players went down a little too easy - they need to take care or they will get rep for it with refs.
Deeney was awesome and is playing better than last season, he caused them huge problems with his running..
Great day out and a deserved 3 points...

    Graysons view on the penalty.

Watford’s winner came from the spot following Danny Ward’s foul on Fernando Forestieri and Simon had no complaints about the decision.

“I have seen the penalty again and Danny has made a tackle and not won the ball and the lad has gone over his leg. If the incident had been in the other box I would have been screaming for a penalty. I think it was the correct decision and sadly for us it cost us an opportunity to win the game

Thank you H. I did very much enjoy it.

We were playing that on friday, did I not mention that?

It certainly was 3-5-2 but we would be more secure in 4-4-2

The traveling fans were in great voice.

It was very sloppy from Almunia, he had the wall where he wanted it and positioned himself poorly and then went limp wristed. Should have done much better.

Hoban played brilliantly for someone so young.

I was talking to a steward who had put £1 on a 3-0, it was 100/1.

It was a fantastic celebration, the coaches all wanted him to celebrate with the fans.

Im not surprised he was very theactrical all game. You might call it diving.

I spoke to Connor after the match and he agreed.

It was a stonewall pen!! People just did not like FF's diving. But he was honest when it counted.

Evening all. What an eventful afternoon that was. I can understand what Zola said about it being hard on the heart. Mine was in tmy mouth for a lot of the game. There were plenty of improvments, but still a bit to be desired. I have to say that Neuton looked better than the previous games, but he still seems startled at times, like a rabbit in headlights. Hall however looked good and the fact he was at the back post to tap home says everything about our lack of teeth in the final third. Deeney looks like he has a point to prove and wins everything he challenges for and shows a real hunger and passion. The main downside, other than conceeding 2 sloppy goals is the theatrics and diving. It MUST stop, but to Zola's credit he seemed to have said something at HT and it seemed to stop.
