maybe he will when he's happy with the fitness and form of both but then something else has to give. are they 2 of a front 3 or 2 or a midfield 4 or front 4?
Well done Nicky & the lads, great result exactly what the club needed after the last week or so. Their performance backed up Rosenior's statement that they want to play for the shirt. Could not make it today but proud to all that did, support sounded fantastic on the radio Bring on Burnley!
I'd love to have King back but I suppose that if Barmby had a fight with some blonde people would never want him to play for or manage City again!
It's worth a try - even for half a match. It would seem like we would be weak in midfield and with cover for our defence but how could any opponents manage without a back six?
Exactly what I thought, Craig. It seems like Phil Brown in the Premier League before he lost his bottle.
Not just for the shirt but for Nick as well. Pearson could get a lot out of players but in a totally different way to Nick.
I think Derby's always had good support tbh. So apart from *you can shove your Nigel Pearson up yer arse* was there any other funnys? I could obviously hear the Barmbys Army chants but they seemed to mute the rest!
They had a special offer on, something like pass holders could bring two friends for free. Plus they the draw of the Barmby Army can never be under stated.
Well according to Barmby, McLean is suspended for next week. Time to bring in Brady on one wing and Stewart on the other in a 4-3-3? What a thought!
Anybody listen to Clough's interview on local radio after the game? said the only difference between the two teams was the goals! utter guff I thought we passed the ball around majestically at times and if McLean wasn't misfiring we could of had a few more. That said though fantastic day out didn't realise how much I'd missed away games! UTT
i heard that, thought we must have seen different games, after a sticky opening 5 minutes, we where a different class
Had a bet at the match, 2-0 Fryatt to score first goal. Odds 40 to 1. Spent a very nervous 2nd half, how on earth we didn't add to the score I'll never know. That was the only worry - they could still be playing now and Derby wouldn't score.
What a great result for Nicky and the tigers. Just had a fantastic celebration with local frog friends. Told them what a great result this was, taken me 10 mins to type this (to much wine!) but now they know of the mighty tigers!! Someone is going to get a hiding from this team, cannot wait. UTT.
Went to the game and just listened to Clough interview on BBC. Derby were never in it although they did lose their main striker early on. Their performance was poor and if Clough were managing us I am sure the crowd at the KC would be giving him stick after that.
