Think this one might all but end our play off hopes and leave us with the (still gratefully accepted) mid-table obscurity. An entirely pessimistic drab 1-1 for me.
I did not do the prediction league this year - impossible to work out how many points you get as it depends on others guesses - hope SLB goes back to the simpler version next year - my brain could just about cope with that
Yeah, I was joking, but I doubt many here would have thought we'd be potentially mathematically safe with 7 games to go at the start of the season. We should win tomorrow but then again we should have beaten 'Boro who also had a long injury list so who knows. Certainly a must win game if we are to harbour any lingering hopes of gatecrashing the playoffs.
As reported several times of late my local team Chateauroux play their French league 2 matches on a Friday night. When they have done well Watford seem to do well the next day, and when they have not done well.......it follows. Tonight they had to travel to Corsica, poor souls, I hope that they have been there all week, to play top of the table Ajaccio. They came away with a good point, 1-1, something that lifted them up the table. If all goes to plan then we should go up the table. Looking at those above and the fixtures it is possible.
Both keepers who've scored for Watford have done it at Coventry - anyone think Loach will make it 3? If Danny scores, he'll equal the club record for games in a row scored - twice in the same season. Hope he does as I'm going to the Hull game where he could break it. As for the result, like most people, I think it's going to be close, so I'm also going to predict a draw.
Can't think of the other one - but then I'm sure there only was one & that was Sherwood against Coventry! Pity we didn't have the Brazilian keeper who has managed 100!
Have a feeling we need to score 3 today to win ,bit concerned about No mappy,Hope Dale or whoever comes in does a good job!
Sherwood certainly scored against Coventry - did Pat Jennings ever get one for us - he has I am sure scored one for Spurs
Pat Jennings scored for Spurs in the 1967 Charity Shield final, his only goal. I cannot find any other keeper apart from SS who scored for Watford.
