Just thinking back to the last time the boss was forced to make a change and we did okay, am sure Dale wont let us down , As our creativity is minimal I think we will start big Chris and rely on hoofball again whilst packing midfield.I cant see us winning this but am hoping for a 3rd 1-1 in a row.

    Thanks again AK great thread:)

Also hear that Gavin Massey is being recalled from Colchester soon ,he wont show in this one but maybe at posh or against Mboro

The stats say that Brighton are a physical side with the worst record for picking up cards in the Championship.

    yellow / red

    Brighton & Hove Albion 87 / 8
    Portsmouth 76 / 4
    Middlesbrough 75 / 7
    Bristol City 75 / 6
    Leeds United 71 / 8

Figures are before last Saturdays games.

Actually going to this one, haven't been to many away games this year. He hasn't been in the team recently but I hope Mackail-Smith plays as I don't get to see him much anymore.

I think we will struggle to get anything from this game to be honest, but we have been nothing if not resillient in the past few weeks so I will predict a 1-1 draw.

Bennett is awful on the ball. Quick and mobile though so should do alright against Brighton.

I'd agree Mitch. Not really physically bruising just a bit bitchy really.

It would be interesting to see how many of their cards are for dissent or in the case of the reds, foul and abusive language.

Would like to see Forsyth, Massey, Garner, Whichelow and Bennett given a run out. Rest Murray for this one.

All is very quiet. I may have to collect Little Ak before the game so I might be late, and there is ice hockey.

I'm glad that Massey has come back from his loan....I would like to see him get some games.

Deeney will be our main man next year...don't think there is much doubt about that...but there certainly is a goalscorer, poacher, creative player etc role to be filled next to him. Iwelumo and Garner both have strengths and contribute a good amount...but they're not good enough to be in the starting eleven every week. I'm hoping that Massey can take up that role....he looked promising against Crystal Palace and he has done ok at Colchester...no goals but then Sordell didn't score much at Tranmere...played at the end of the season then came into the new one next to Graham.

Stephen McGinn is also available for selection. He told me so himself. It was really good to hear!! Him on the right in place of Murray, Forsyth on the left, then CI and Troy up front. OR Forsyth and Murray on the wings with Mcginn partnering Deeney maybe.

Game on, going to be around for this one. Got the CL game for my lunch break too. COYH, CORM !

I'd love to see Real win the CL. Despite José Mourinho's niggling reputation to some, his record is incredible and to get RM to the top of La Liga is no mean feat given their rival's status and the human goal machine that is Messi. Mind you, Ronaldo is not far behind in total.

Well he used to play in midfield, but the official site says he like the edge of a diamond or up front.

BHD your news about Stephen McGinn is good. Would there be a waste if Sean Dyche left Scott Loach off the bench and had all the substitutes as on field players, I have seen some other teams do that.
