Head-to-head
• Blackpool ended an eight-game winless run in regular league games against Cardiff, with a 3-1 victory at the Cardiff City Stadium on 4 February. All three of their goals were scored by Phillips; Matt two, Kevin one.
• It means that each club has won 10 of the 33 league matches staged on Cardiff turf.
• It's 17 years since Cardiff last failed to find the net in a home league game against the Seasiders.

Cardiff City
• Crystal Palace ended Cardiff's three-match winning streak last weekend, but Malky Mackay's side still go into this game defending a 100% home record (three wins out of three).
• The seventh-placed Bluebirds have won four and drawn five of the last nine league games at the Cardiff City Stadium, subsequent to defeat to Hull on 13 March.
• Defender Andrew Taylor is anticipating a 250th appearance in club football.

Blackpool

• Ian Holloway's men made a great start to the campaign, winning the first three, but have only managed one triumph in the four subsequent games.
• The Seasiders are three points off the pace, and a maximum here would give them their best start in 17 years.
• The Championship's top scorers (16 in seven), also boast the division's tightest defence away from home, with just two goals shipped in three games (W1, D1, L1).

hurry up final whistle

Hi Taff ....time for a nervy pint now

This is my only gripe with MM we are 3-0 up at home 10 mins left and he takes a striker off for Cowie! This is a perfect time for giving Velikonja a run out...but a superb result!

What formation did we use? Only just started listening to the game :(

Agree with this. Also, why go and play keep ball down at the corner flag when we're 3-0 up? Not as if we were defending a slender lead. Otherwise, very satisfying.

SkySports had the same problem! There score centre was down...they said it was technical difficulties that was out of there control the company that suppled them the information was having problems...so I guess beeb was using same company!

Sky confirmed a result as 1-6 when in fact it was 1-0 lol!
