A voyage to the seaside is not what desember is for but "Yo Ho Ho" that is the Football League’s present for the Hornets. League champions of 1929-30 and FA Cup winners from 1953 Blackpool are hosts for the travelling Hornets.

“It is a bitter pill for us to swallow because I thought we were going to win and nobody has done that down here for a year. We got a bit of a lucky goal but we earned that right. We came here, we were brave and we passed it. We probably had more possession than they did. I'm devastated that we didn't get three points but that's the way it goes.”
“In the end I've got to be satisfied with a good draw but we could so easily have won it - and that's why it feels a little bit like a defeat. I thought we played very, very well. I'm disappointed for the lads because I thought we deserved to see it through.”

“The tinge of frustration quickly goes away when you reflect on some of the performances today; both as a team and individually within it.”
"We have got to be looking at the bigger picture and I think it is fair to say that when we find consistency like we have over the last eight games, then we look like a side to be reckoned with. We certainly look like a side that teams can't walk over and come to Vicarage Road to take three points. Today was a thorough example of that."
“I don’t feel robbed because that is the reality of football; it can spin on a knife edge. We are disappointed not to take all three points of course after a performance like that but it can happen.”

Current form
In the last month Blackpool have won and drawn threematchesand lost one. Starting with a win in Leeds of 0:5 they have slowed down. 13 goals marked against 8 lost shows an entertaining company. Watford have also lost once in the same period but won only two times. The defence is proving strong and have lost only five goals in seven games with eight goals marked.
Akureyri's Prediction: 2-0 The Seasiders will be too powerful for the visitors who will return to the south with nothing to reward them.
At the end of a game dominated by Blackpool the locals were lucky to win. Losing 1:2 with two minutes of the game remaining goals from Keith Southern and Brett Ormerod gave the hosts the win. Charlie Adam gave the Seasiders the lead before Tom Cleverly and Henri Lansbury gave the Hornets the lead.
Blackpool had many more shots at goal and missing the goal than the visitors. They also had many more corners. On the fouls count the teams were equal but only Ian Evatt received a caution.
Into the past
Blackpool and Watford are not frequent combatants, they have played each other nine times at Bloomfield Road. The bad news for the locals is two wins against three for the visitors and four draws. The goals count is thirteen each. The first meeting was a 1:2 cup win for the visitors in 1922. The next encounter almost 50 years after was another win for the visitors. Recently the locals have done a lot better with a 3:2 win in the last match after a defeat and several 1:1 draws.

, I'd be happy with 1-1, as I think we might struggle this week.
