I can well see it, you've got your honest Brits and Irish lads v the overpaid Spuds and the mercenaries from abroad. Can anybody really have a go at the likes of Daws Chester Brady Quinn Mcshane etc. if we go down keep these lot and sack off the rest of them

Someone said most of those you ( and I ) would keep are almost out of contract. Those you want to sack off are over valued and in contract, so unless Mr Allam is prepared to take a hit they will be staying.

Would you like some common sense with your over exaggeration?

First of all, I said most of the squad. Second, Thudd and Livermore have massively underperformed this season, we all know that. They are great footballers and would beat any Championship midfield. Their attitude in the last few games has been questionable, but that's for the manager to sort out.

If Alex Bruce had played CM yesterday, George Boyd would have raped him in the arse. I'm sure he would've given 100% to avoid being raped, but like a sex at a Grimsby family reunion, you just know it's it's coming.

I would have used Scunthorpe instead of Grimsby, but apart from that........

I think it is just as likely that the pressure cooker will have blown betwee n players and coaching team - there is only so long you will take all of the blame and that time has well passed.

They played one yesterday. How did they do?

You certainly dont know they have underperformed all season. You tried belittling me when i said it earlier in the season.

Going back to the Humberside point with no players coming out for an interview; do I remember correctly that Burnsy said "There'll be no players coming out for an interview - I think Michael Dawson has done too many losing interviews so I don't blame him."

I hope Dawson stays and is our skipper next year - a real leader of men. Build a young team around him.

Agreed, but honestly get a grip over meyler he is tosh. He was when he came on and has been 90% of the time this season apart from a few glimpses of effort.

It seemed obvious to most of us what should have happened yesterday. 4 at the back, Rosie and Robertson with Daws and chester with Brady and Elmo in MIdfield with Quinn and a 25% Diame With Jela up top and Diame off him. Bruce like several managers has his preferences and instead of sucking it up and admitting, Livermore, Huddlestone, Aluko are crap he sticks with him.

Anyway as long as they've got their sports cars to show off on Instagram etc etc i'm sure they won't give two ****s who they play for next year as any fight for Hull City yesterday was lacking.

So diame is due an op tomorrow but you'd still have him in midfield & up top? He's good but he's not superman!

Dawson and Chester would be the best pairing in the Championship with the likes of Mcshane, Bruce and Rosy floating about as back ups, we can't go wrong there. Hopefully the likes of Elmo would show some loyalty, surely he would be dynamite in the Championship but the worrying thing is, if has been suggested we have to keep trundling Tom and Livermore on their inflated (even with a cut) salaries.

Oh right. Shrug it off old chap.

In retrospect they have underperformed, it's easy to say that now. Earlier in the season they didn't look as uninterested as they do now.

Well, two England capped midfielders vs most Championship midfields should be better, can't be that unreasonable an expectation can it?

I, and others, said it then.
Again, we played a Championship midfield yesterday. How did Hudd do?
