We have had years of bad play and booing!! But the booing happens at most clubs... even at Man u Yesterday!! i don't suggest this is the way to act but people spend their money so i suspect they will do as they wish and if that means booing to make a point so be it..

    It will always happen...

Good evening fellow greens. My first time on here as have only just got the internet. I have got to stay positive about this, having taken 2 days to get to Home Park and only got home at 6.30 tonight.
I felt we played well first 25 minutes but then ran out of ideas. I must admit to throwing a few boos at them especially at some of the passing. My glass is always half full and we will get 3 points next week.
    Regards
    Jammy

Its not that bad to be honest. Always get lifts, and don't mind walking. Fleetwood and Wycombe I must admit I wished I had not bothered. Going to make the effort next weekend for Exeter's cup final.
Do you get to go to the games?
    Regards
    Jammy

Welcome Jammy. I wish I hadn't bothered most times over the last 4 years or so but what the hell. Somebodies got to go even if it's to turn the lights out and shut the doors. If they keep up the current then I might eventually be the only one to do it. People have had enough notdistant. I don't agree with booing as said. But the bad play leads to the booing not the booing leading to bad play as Mrs lalala says. There comes a point when the adversity card runs out of mileage and people expect more. There comes a point when the excuses stop and that's the fans making excuses for the players and the club making excuses for everything. I've said this a few times but it needs repeating. The support in the circumstances for Argyle over the 4 years has been phenominal. The goodwill shown second to none. The money the faithful have handed over by continuing to pay for absolute dross remarkable along with all the donations into the buckets being rattled. IT CANNOT LAST FOREVER. If the current continues this season the numbers will drop and it will condemn Argyle to this league for years to come. My views on Brent are well known. Over to you Mr Brent.

I didn't say it was the fans, I merely asked the question.

    Here are 2 more questions:

    • Is half time at the first home game of the season with a substantially new squad (6 of the 11 starters were playing in their first home league game) a bit early to start booing?
    • If it isn't the fans, who is the problem?

Sorry Sensible, I hadn't seen your post. I will agree that the number attending have been impressive given the dire circumstances and performances. The level of support for the players on match day, which is what counts, has been less so. It's NOT over to Mr Brent at any point: this particular parcel has been passed to the fans clearly marked "Do not return if undelivered". Do not rely on Brent riding to the rescue as a White Knight, it's not going to happen.

I'm not relying on Brent notdistant. He has shown he is perfectly unrelieable all by himself. You cannot just devoid him of any responsibility however. He owns the club and is set to make a pretty penny. It is simply blackmail to expect the supporters to prop it all up blindly and carry on doing it regardless. We may as well have had Ridsdale and Heaney as him and in fact we might even have been better off in the long run.
