Davis 7- Possibly at fault for their goal but commanded his box well again.
Butterfield 7- Solid performance at right back
Jaidi 7- A colossus at the back. It was just a shame he was at fault for the goal otherwise he would have got at least an 8.
Fonte 8- Great defensive performance and a terrific goal
Dickson 8- Strong defensively and got forward well. Proved a real handful for Calderon
Forte 5- Struggled to make an impact in the game
Gobern 7- Decent performance considering it was his first start for a long time
Hammond 7- Went missing a bit at times but passed the ball well and got stuck in at times
Chaplow 8- Very good performance. He was everywhere.
Guly 6- Couple of good chances missed but was still a threat
Lambert 7- Held the ball up well and linked up well with the midfield

Subs:
Lallana 9 (Man of the Match)- Outstanding. Completely changed the game
Connolly 7- Immediate impact with the goal. Would like to see him start on monday ahead of Guly

Overall a great performance and a thoroughly deserved victory which puts us firmly in the driving seat for automatic promotion.

I don't agree, and, after having seen the goals on Sky Sports, it wasn't really Kelvin's fault as it was Jaidi's sloppy backpass, seriosuly everyone is so quick to jump on Davis's back a lot of the time

Was defo the sloppy back pass from Jaidi that put kelvin under pressure. I didn't think Davis could be blamed for their goal. General chit chat around us at the ground today thinks Seaborne will get the nod over him on Monday. He looked tired again at times. Did feel sorry for him when they scored. Also talk of Connolly starting.

Just seen the highlights from the football league show. I agree, it wasn't Davis's fault at all. Terrible backpass from Jaidi but he was completely solid apart from that in the game yesterday.
