I have to agree that I thought Yoshida put in a good performance. I'm increasingly impressed by Ward-Prowse too but I did feel that Targett's crossing was a bit wayward. He settled in particularly well but the comparisons wish Luke Shaw seem a bit optimistic in my opinion. No doubt Targett can cut it at this level but I just felt that Shaw always had quality and destined to get an England cap. So far this season, I feel Davis has been our stand out player. He is often over-looked by some fans but I feel his is instrumental to our better performances.
+1 on Davis and I would say Targett is easily performing as well as Shaw was in his first few games and remember Shaw got to play games back to back from the start not one here and one there.
Yeah, I'd say that was fair. Every time he plays it's like he's been there for a few seasons instead of a few games.
