Krul 6- awful for the goal and had nowt else to do
Simpson 6- was a disgrace in the first half, got forward well in second (only reason its not lower)
Coloccini 6- mistake for the goal and looked a bit out of it at times
Taylor 9- my MOTM everyone knows im not his greatest fan but he was great today, looked solid at the back won everything in the air and scored a good goal
Enrique 7- was good at the back and got forward well at times, still seems reluctant to run at defenders though in the last couple of months, not sure why?
Barton 7- Was miles better than he was against Liverpool and got forward well, needs to remember hes playing RM and not CM though
Nolan 6- Again better than Liverpool but still doesnt put enough effort in IMO, was sloppy and scuffed every chance he had, doesnt help out the wingers enough or make himself available
Tiote 7.5- Solid performance for the most part and looked world class in parts, but another stupid yellow card and bit of sloppy play which could cost him a ban and could have nearly cost us a goal
Gutierrez 8- Never stopped running again but seemed reluctant to cross AT ALL today, got into some great positions though, and looked very dangerous
Ameobi 5- Awful apart from his lovely penalty finish, he seems to be getting worse the more he plays
Lovenkrands 4- Did he actually do anything today? seems to run a lot but goes missing for large chunks, offers nothing

Ranger 7- in the time he played he was great I thought made some good runs looked strong and powerful and was unlucky not to score (Foster was incredible today)

 

Shola's epitaff could be "Didn't do much" too

 

I think I gave Shola a 1.

They're woeful man. With the way Birmingham were playing and how they only had 10 men, Shola could have doubled his chances of he made even the slightest amount of effort or could run more than 0.5mph.

As for the penalty, he's very lucky it wasn't saved. The keeper was about 2cm's from getting a hand to it. Shola made absolutely no effort in hiding where he was going to place his shot. You could see it in the run up.

 

Krul - 5 - Only called upon twice and messed up both times. Good kicking though.
Simpson - 6 - Started terribly, but put in a few good crosses in the second half.
Taylor - 7 - Not much to do, but did nothing wrong. Good goal as well.
Collo - 5 - Poor by his standards, at fault for the goal.
Enrique - 6 - meh
Barton - 6 - meh
Nolan - 6 - meh
Tiote - 8 - Won every tackle, played some brilliant long balls, and rarely lost possesion. Would have been 9 ifit weren't for hisbooking.
Gutierrez - 6 - Worked hard but no end product and Carr dealt with him surprisingly well
Ameobi - 5 - Brilliant penalty, but was often AWOL when a decent cross came in.
Lovenkrands - 5 - Good runs in the first half, but should have scored. Disappeared second half as always.

Ranger - 6 - Caused their defence problems but yet again made the wrong decisions.

Fans - 5 - A very comfortable 2-1 win in an end of season 'nothing to play for' game, so nothing to get exited about really.
