Where were you sitting mate. I was back row of the east stand, halfway between the half way line and goal (south stand).
East stand in line with the 18 yard box but other end of the stadium nearest the away fans. Sit quite high in row 34, had season ticket there for years. Great view but awful atmosphere.
Gomes is a cheat and tried to get our player sent off. If a player had done that in the attacking area it'd be a free kick against them for diving. Why wasn't that a free kick or penalty as he feigned injury to try to make the ref punish our player? anyhow you lot played some nice stuff first half. We could've kept playing till Christmas and never scored!! Everything was going just in the keepers reach or inches past the post!! Onto a nice easy away trip next week for us. Im watching palace v ston (half time now. 1-0 palace) what a cracking game. Palace v ston. Who.d have thought a few seasons ago this would be a cracking prem game? How have so many teams advanced and some (us the mags and villa) are static at best?
Its strange. As ive been to upton park several times. West Ham and their rep ( i know many on here dont like/had problems) yet had a great time. Every time.
