That's the bit I don't understand. Unless Sam is fishing for more resources?

Toivanen continues to disappoint me. I would have preferred M'Villa to replace him vs Catts as we lost bite in the midfield when he went off.

Arsenal's ability to retain possession in the final 1/4 of the pitch, probe and test defences still amazes me; they have to be one of the best clubs for that in the world.

The Arse were almost at full strength today so there is question the better team won. Good luck to them in the Cup, and U.S. Jn the PL (which is what really counts).

Toi is being played too deep, he doesn't have the engine to play in Midfield. Can't believe Sam can't see it. He should be played off the main striker where his sheer size and strength can be a pain in the arse. On his debut Dick played him just off the striker and he was a complete nightmare to deal with. He's never been played that far forward since. Dick got more out of Ola than any other manager and he did that by playing him deep in a front three.

All subs made sense to me yesterday. Resting players to recover for a more important midweek game.

I agree with this but in addition I would also suggest Sam wasn`t keen on a replay. Although I would`ve liked to see the bairns have a go but putting them on as subs (had the result stayed the same) they would`ve blamed themselves/got the blame which would have done their confidence no good at all.

    Just a thought like.
