There seems to be a lot of what if's with Fryatt. What if he didn't get injured, what if he had more service. I'm judging him on how he's performed and how many he's scored, not on how many he would have scored had we been living in a perfect world.
Well if you are judging him on how many he's scored, you would be saying he is a great striker, as his return for us has been brilliant with what chances he had to feed off of.
You seem to be over impressed with 10-15 goals in the championship. I'd call Falcao a great striker, I'd call Fryatt a decent championship striker. If Fryatt is as clinical and as brilliant as you say, why hasn't somebody signed him from us? Even before his injury?
Why would someone have taken him before his injury? We were never going to let him go as he was intended to be our main striker, and clubs knew that. Teams such as Forest and Boro are looking at him now, so it isn't as if nobody is after him like you suggest.
I'm talking premiership teams. We'll have to agree to disagree. I think he did a decent job for us, he wasn't the most convincing finisher and he was often lazy, but he did score a few for us. I don't think he's good enough and neither does SB, I guess we'll never find out.
