What a game where to start Jacobson brilliant today, last season at times he looked way off. I think you have to say the three goals we scored Cowley will be having kittens, any manager would be disgusted to let three goals in from where we scored them, from open play Freeman hit the bar, the Beast should have had at least another. Lincoln played into our hands in the first half, there passing of the ball was wonderful to watch, along the back talk about square passes, they did absolutely nothing with it. For the Bloomfield incident sat up in the back row of the Frank Adams the referee put the whistle in his mouth to blow Wycombe players stopped, & yes Lincoln reverted to the long ball in the second half to Akinde so Lincoln are a long ball side. Yes we scored three from set plays, we could easily have had another three from open play. Ainsworth has one heck of a squad there this year. I am very glad we got Freeman on a long term contract he most certainly he will go higher.

After we scored the third goal the home terrace decided they would like to play with match ball, while singing we know what we are time wasting b******s.
All I know Greeny this league is a mess at the moment a friend of mine is a Pompey supporter & they will not play a league game for three weeks, last Saturday a big celebration in Southsea the police cancelled their home game because they could'nt cope, today International call ups, next week due to play Bury, their next league game is the 17th September against Burton, then us on the 21st, & you have Cowley & Lincoln moaning that Doncaster had ten days with out a game before they played last Saturday

 

And they expect Bury to be given a reprieve................can't happen because they are the problem and if they can't do the games then sorry they can't play in the competition. I agree it's a farce but just cling onto the top spot and that will pee off more than you could hope for.

 

It won't last greeny but we sure as hell will enjoy it while it does

 

Further to Saturday you also have the Bolton situation they have now signed a team have had a week off to put it together, the teams that play them after this break are now are worse off than the teams who played them before the 1st September & I include Wycombe in that.

 

I think I've got to make an appointment for the doctors as I woke up this morning looking like a Cheshire Cat
