Well done Thai! great thread, looks like both our teams are still making their mark here in the Premiership! But what have you done with the Hoops!!....................
Great OP. Really hard to predict this game I hope the home advantage will provide a considerable edge that'll give the Swans another 3 points. Should be a very tough game though Norwich played really well in the first half against Sunderland but if we can put a lid on Pilkington and Holt and work hard and focus for 90 minutes then we'll win. 3-1 Swans.
That's because it's in English CS. You know these yanks, all style and no substance While I can understand the confidence by the Swans fans here I am quite shocked at the number of 3-1 predictions Not saying it cannot or will not happen but our defence is tighter than a very tight thing and I feel 3 goals is a little optimistic.
That's pretty tight then? I tend to agree with you. I'd be surprised if there's more than 2 goals in the game, but any defence can have an off day and if you end us chasing the game, who knows? I'll take a point now
I don't know why but I fancy us to get our first away win and club record of 9 prem. leagues unbeaten. Also see plenty of goals, which has not been a feature of our season so going 2-3 City. That said if we do get beaten then there is no disgrace losing to a very good side such as Swansea. Lets hope for a good game for all.OTBC!
Hoping for a 3-1, would be happy for a 2-0 but right now will take a draw lol. Just cant call this one!!
Laudrup has hinted that Hernandez wont be playing, especially as we have the cup game on Wednesday, which will be a big loss for us. So I will go 2-1 If Hernandez is passed fit though and we play the West Brom line up I will go with my original prediction 5-2
Leon`s a doubt apparently, knee trouble. Shake up in the lineup coming, I think. Even tougher game now that w****r lawro has us down to win!!!
Shame about Pablo because his passing would be key in unlocking what is proving to be a tight Norwich defence. The prospect of losing Leon is also a blow. Without these players, an already tight game looks like getting even tougher. Fortunately, Michael Laudrup knows the potential risk in this game and warned our players against complacency. I still think we will win but every player will have to match their work rate for the full 90+ minutes. No passengers required for this one, thank you.
For some reason the great man seems to have taken against Norwich and Swansea,we are six points better off than his predictions and Swansea seven.
Time for Ki and JDG to step up in this one,Leon out will be a big blow. Its ok doing it against the glamour clubs buts lets see them influence things against the likes of Norwich where matching them for commitment and workrate will be vital before we can even think of imposing our game properly. I just cant call this game, knowing the Swans its exactly the type of game we tend to **** up( nothing meant against Norwich im talking about us beleiving our own hype when we beat one of the top4 clubs) if we arnt switched on from the start its going to be a hard afternoon, if we get an early goal it could open up the game and be a thriller, im very wary of Norwich, hope our players feel the same way tomorrow
Like i have said many many times....play teams below us as if they were the premiership champions.....The minute you think this should be a home banker is the time you drop your guard....I don't think sir mike would allow that this season as he will want to beat Brendan record of 11th place...we are well on course if we leave out any complacency...
Agreed dai, (thats a first). But Norwich are a very good side and if we underestimate them it will be a very long Saturday afternoon. We have traditionally in the past not performed well after getting up for the so called bigger sides. This was even the case in the championship. But i feel ML wont allow this to happen. Hope that is the case anyway.
Hope that our being confident from the good recent form plus having a settled side will be enough to nick a point but all good runs end eventually and you owe us one (at least) so I would not be suprised at all if it finished 2-1 or 3-1 with Michu scoring again. Wish we had found him for £2m! Good luck for the rest of the season although I suspect you won't need it.
